The biggest difference: the men have Oswego to contend with, the women had Elmira AND RIT in their conference. The latter of which was already gearing up for its move to DI when it won its 2 conference titles.

But ultimately, it comes down to the fact that, as successful as the women's team has been, at the conference level Elmira has just been moreso. To go along with Remy's analogy: ELMW is to PLTW as PLT is to OSW :/

He did say that the coaches want an even SUNYAC...

Well, far be it from me to throw anyone under the bus, but that came from somone on this board I consider to be in the know on such things. Glad to hear we get to keep Norwich!

And it's entirely possible he was correct at the time but the situation has changed. Perhaps Canton isn't joining the SUNYAC, perhaps they opted to delay it a year, or maybe they decided to scrap the 1 this year, 2 next year mumbo-jumbo. Who knows? The coaches do.

Besides, coaches make schedules, not SIDs... like I said, maybe the lines of communication between Coach McShane and Derek got mixed up somehow. Again, who knows? Only they do :P

Depending where Redlight is next year, that looks like a nice time to visit Plattsburgh. Hopefully I don't need to exceed the number of Prezde's visits to get a favorable result.
