Yeah, Mooney lived in that dangerous world of #3 or #4 center where someone can come in and snag your job like last year (Radisa). Usually it's a guy with some different skills than your top couple of centers, i.e. good faceoff man, penalty killer, rah-rah guy. Too bad, he was alright.

It is good to be so highly regarded but I still feel there is plenty of competition out there that is not being mentioned often. I always regard Norwich, Oswego and Middlebury part of that skilled and talented group who continue to prove themselves. I know they will be good too and look forward to it.

Roster has Captain Jensen as a forward,though he was staying back on the blueline this yr??

Hmm... good catch :cool:

Odd, he was easily the team's best D when he got moved there last year. I wonder if he will be playing F, or if it was just a case of not updating it from last year's roster?

Well I sure hope he is playing D. Otherwise, there are 7 D-men listed on the roster, including two freshmen (Patterson and Hermans). I've heard some good stuff about Patterson, but Hermans is an unknown to me. I don't know how comfortable I'd feel going into the season with the 7 D listed. Besides, it's not like Plattsburgh is struggling at the forward positions.

Cards looked very, very good today in intrasquad scrimmage. 3 or 4 of the newcomers should crack the lineup right away. Freshman goalie looks sharp too. Overall team speed is fantastic. Not a small Cardinal team either, pretty good size. Looks like the total package at first take. I'm excited, it should be a very good year to be a Card fan.

That was the most competitively played intrasquad scrimmage I have seen, it was great to watch. Should be a great year, target and all.

I am confused! Is there a red and white game this weekend, Oct 26th? Or was it played already? Thanks...

The Red/White game is Sat. at 7PM. The other event was an open scrimmage during homecoming weekend.

Lots of guys don't like a pep band at a hockey game, I am not one of them. Rock on, enhance your skills indeed!

I think that the pep band adds a great deal to the home game experience. In the same vein, I hope the guy with the bagpipes comes back as well.
