I think you mean Sections
(Why they chose to use the arabic numeral for Section 2, but roman numerals for all the rest is beyond me... Apparently NYSPHSAA doesn't value consistency quite as much as the NC$$)
I have two tickets to sell for the entire Cardinal Classic weekend. Both are for reserved seats in Sect. D, 3 rows from the back, almost exactly at Cenrer ice. Please email me (or text on 518-726-6225) if interested.
Thanks

Those traveling to the Cardinal Classic this weekend ought to bundle up. We're not forecasted to see positive temperatures until late Saturday morning. Wind chill in the area is currently hovering around the -30 range!
It shouldn't be too bad. Better than it is outside for sure! LOL. I will have my long johns out for tomorrow night however.I know. Sitting in Applebees after a nice 9 hr car ride. I Think my antifreeze is good to -30.
How cold will Stafford be tomorrow?
As the Plattsburgh State men’s hockey team gets back into gear this weekend, fans will see the welcome return of a key player plus a new name on the roster.
The Cardinals (9-0-2) will be back in action for the first time since Dec. 7 when they host the Buck Supply Winter Classic this weekend. They’ll play Hamilton tonight at Stafford Ice Arena after Hobart and Williams face off in the afternoon. The winners will meet in Saturday’s championship game, held after the consolation contest.
“After a break, the good thing about it is you get excited to get going again,” Plattsburgh coach Bob Emery said. “I think the guys are chomping at the bit. They haven’t played a game in a long time, so they shouldn’t have any trouble getting ready for the game.”
Senior Nick Jensen has been off even longer than most. The defenseman broke his hand in the first game of the season and missed the rest of the first semester. Emery said Jensen is “good to go.”
“He’s gonna play,” Emery said. “I think he’s a valuable player to any team, and especially to our team. Gotta get him back in there and get him some playing time.”
The coach said there were a few roster changes over the break. Most notable is the addition of sophomore goaltender Spencer Finney. The Pontypool, Ont., native played 23 games for Colgate last season, but after seeing action in just three contests in the first semester this season, he transferred to Plattsburgh.
Finney allowed 10 goals in the three games he played this season; as a freshman, he posted a .904 save percentage and a 2.68 goals-against average.
Freshman goaltender Connor Creech, who did not see ice time in the first semester, did not return to the team. The Cardinals also lost freshman Derek Patterson. The defenseman had a knee injury that kept him from playing and was going to keep him out the rest of the year, and he opted not to return.
Emery said he doesn’t know much about the Hamilton squad the Cardinals will face today. The Continentals (3-3-1) finished the first part of the season by recording a tie and a win against fellow NESCAC members Williams and Middlebury.
Williams (5-0-2) is ranked seventh in the USCHO.com Division III Men’s Poll and edged Amherst 1-0 in the last game of the first semester. Hobart (2-4-4), an ECAC West team, lost its three games. The Statesmen have gone to overtime six times this season.
Plattsburgh did not drop a game in the first semester and starts the second semester as the top-ranked team in Division III. Emery said the Cardinals are focused on improving their power play and their puck management. Forward Luke Baleshta added that they don’t want to change too much.
“We’ve gotta keep doing what we’ve been doing,” Baleshta said. “We don’t want to think about being ranked No. 1. That doesn’t mean anything to us; we kinda want to keep that out of our head. And Chewy (goalie Mathieu Cadieux) has been unbelievable so far.
“He’s going to obviously keep it going. We have to pick it up for him, because without him in a couple of games, we probably wouldn’t have won those games. So he’s been unbelievable, and hopefully we can play a little better in the second half for him.”

What are the odds of Patterson returning to Plattsburgh once he's healed? Or does him not returning mean he's out for good? Would be a shame to see someone with that kind of potential wind up elsewhere over an injury.
Either way hope he recovers well and quickly wherever he winds up.
Like Bob just said....do you want to pay $$$ to just "hang out with the guys". I would think he would be a welcomed addition in the 2014-15 season.

After going a month between games, the Cardinals said rust wasn’t really a problem Friday in the first round of the Buck Supply Winter Classic.
But their defensive-zone play was.
Top-ranked Plattsburgh State fell behind unranked Hamilton early in the second period before coming back to win 5-2 at Stafford Ice Arena, spurred by Alex Brenton’s hat trick.
Coach Bob Emery said the Cardinals’ first-semester issues carried over.
“I just think we had the same struggles we’ve had all year. I don’t think we did well in our own end,” he said. “I thought we did a lot of good things on the attack. I think we did a lot of good things on our offensive-zone offense and our cycle. And we got some good looks with that.”
The Cardinals (10-0-2) earned a spot in the men’s hockey tournament’s championship game today against Hobart, which beat Williams 3-2 in overtime Friday afternoon.
Plattsburgh looked like it would take a lead into the first intermission, but Mike DiMare skated in and beat Mathieu Cadieux with 27 seconds left to knot it at 1-1. The Continentals (3-4-1) carried momentum into the second period and pulled ahead at 1:52 when Pat Curtis scored during a 5-on-3 advantage.
“Just mental breakdowns, I think,” Brenton said. “We just gotta be better in the defensive zone and just play better. They just came out flying, and they took it to us.”
Kyle Hall tied it at 7:24. He came in and took a forehand shot, and Hamilton goalie Joe Quattrocchi got a glove on it but slid back into the net. Brenton’s second goal of the night, on a backhander from the slot, put the Cardinals ahead in the middle of the second.
Dillan Fox scored in the third after the Continentals coughed up the puck, and Brenton tallied an empty-netter with 2 seconds left.
Emery said the Cardinals played better in the second and for half of the third but then turned the puck over too much.
“Give Hamilton a lot of credit. They didn’t quit,” Emery said. “And they caused us to make a lot of turnovers in the last 10 minutes. We gotta be better than that. We gotta be tougher on ourselves and more accountable with the puck.”
The coach added that the Cardinals spent too much time in the penalty box during the game. They gave Hamilton two 5-on-3 advantages and totaled six penalties, all in the last two periods.
Cadieux picked up the win and stopped 29 saves. Brenton netted the game’s first goal just after the midway point of the first period with an assist from Nick Jensen, who made his return from a hand injury suffered in the season opener and also assisted on Hall’s goal. Alex Jensen finished with two assists as well, and Brenton earned one.
In the opening game, Mac Olson scored nine seconds into overtime to give Hobart a win. Robert Sovik put the Statesmen (3-4-4) ahead 19 seconds into the first, and Tommaso Traversa made it 2-1 in the third before Williams’ Sam Gray tied it with 8:46 left. Lino Chimienti had 24 saves for Hobart. The Ephs (5-1-2) will play Hamilton in the consolation game this afternoon.
Emery said Hobart plays hard, does the little things well and usually comes out ready to play.
“We gotta find ways to play that way, too,” Emery said. “They have a lot of energy guys, and they play with a lot of energy. We don’t have many guys playing with a lot of energy — they rely too much on their skill. And it’s going to come back and bite us.”
