Don't listen to St. Clown. Pa-ree-zay.

And it's Lord Parise, not Lord Zach. :p

It's this.

I don't know what they could mention since they're not allowed to show highlights.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...they have enough talking heads to fill a coloring book.

There is one thing bothering me about this olympics and I finally figured out what it is. It's Bob Costas, more especially it's that fact that we only get to listen to his outstanding work in the olympics and meanwhile have to listen to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver or Joe Buck and whoever do every other meaningful sporting event. Truly sad. I really miss Bob Costas calling the baseball playoffs and anyone would be better than Joe Buck calling football.

Dude seriously, at least for the next week Toews in the enemy, or at least should be even for UND fans. They only stat I'd like to see from him is a -16 for the tournament and a quarterfinal exit. If you want to love up an ex UND player, stick with Lord Zach (who incidentially at least for one week really will be Lord Zach even to gopher fans).;)

I could have been clearer about how much I enjoyed the overhyped Canadian stars producing nothing and getting it handed to them. But that won't stop me from rooting for Toews; he's the real deal on and off the ice, a gentleman and a scholar, the kind of guy I'd like my daughter to marry.

But I really did enjoy the best of US college hockey sitting on top of the world in 1980. And for one night, tonight in 2010.

USA can play a lot better than they did tonight. (See: last 5 minutes.) It will be interesting to see what changes their coaches make.

Weird, because I have personally heard JP say Pa-ree-zee. But, he isn't Zach now is he? Pa-ree-zay it is.

JP is Canadian. So he's an idiot.

This would be better if there was a "Property of the USA" sticker slapped on it. :D :D

In other news, USA curling still hasn't stopped sucking.

Not true. They're not losing because they're sucking, they're losing because Sweden is shooting the lights out. The U.S. is curling 85%, and they're still losing.

In the 8th end, Sweden just opened by pushing the U.S. guards out of the way without pushing them out of play.

Tony Dorsett (some of you may be old enough to remember him) underwent a pronunciationectomy. He was "dor' set" at Pitt and "dor set'" with the Cowboys.

The SWE/FIN "blood feud" is about to begin.

Go Sweden!

Suomi already has a PP, about 30 seconds in.

Didn't Theisman change his pronunciation so it rhymed with Heisman? Or, is that urban folklore?

That triple was phenomenal, too.

I think I am rooting for Suomi in this hockey game.

Oh look at that, the pillow buddies are wrong again.

Normally I would want Suomi to win, but with the implications this game has on the US, I have to root for Sweden. Considering a Sweden win (as long as they don't win by more than 5) means that the US is on the opposite side of the bracket from Canada, Russia and Sweden...

I've heard that, too, and of course, Theisman denies it. Where's Snopes when you need them??

Oh look at that, the pillow buddies are wrong again.

I've heard Pari-zay more than not, even in college. I always thought it was Pari-zee, but given the origins of the name, I could see either pronunciation: Americanized, or non-Americanized, if that makes sense.
