I knew it. Don't even have to click the link. I think we're already FB friends.

EDIT: Yeah we're definitely already FB friends Mr. B.

You don't have to know who he is. But everyone knows him. ;)

Okay fellas. You filled up the last pages of the last Oswego section with your personal drivel. How about talking about hockey.

I wonder if Gosek will be giving any more tours before this game to potential recruits.

I would rather see King #8 out there Saturday. He handles the buck better that Riviat and is more physical. He also seems to have a better ice awareness about him. I would bet that Ed will put out Riviat on Saturday he is very loyal to his players unless King really shines in practice this week.

I have to agree that given the choice I kinda like King better. But if memory serves correctly, Rivait had a really great record coming out of junior and having seniority over King doesn't hurt either. I'm expecting big things out of both players, but I feel like King would be better. Keep in mind though, that it is possible for both to be playing as they both played in both Utica games.

Important note though, King hasn't played either of the previous Platty games while Rivait played both. Gosek may go with Rivait because he has the experience or he may go with King to change things up.

Faster opponent = faster skater in King. I think Riviat was in for the Buff State due to a more physical, grinding opponent. I really believe this thing is going to be a wide open, higher scoring contest than the last few times they have met.

maybe Josepher back to forward and both will play??

Re: Oswego State Laker Hockey 2012-13...Part 2..Because Norwich's thread didn't close

No chance, Wass... that was a last ditch move. With all the forwards healthy, it will be one or the other.

EXCELLENT BANTER WITH YOUSELF HERE. Bottom line King is the better defenseman..... Rivait cost Oswego the only goal they gave up in Cortland. In the 2nd, he went off on a change with a Cortland penalized player returning to the bench, nearly colliding with Rivait. Cortland's bench was in the offensive end during the 2nd, the fresh player received the breakout pass, scored on the break away he was given by this, what were you thinking watching this guy get behind you, mistake. Ruining his Freshmen goaltenders shutout. You can't allow this type of mistake in a championship game. Rivait is prone to making this type of (what were you thinking watching this guy get behind you) error. Oh yeah...He was benched the next night in favor of King.

King has a great head, picks up for his partners mistakes far more often than perhaps any other Oz D-man. Stays at home and has made very few (what were you thinking watching this guy get behind you) mistakes. Blocks shots, takes the body, moves well with and without the puck. His "strike" against him is "freshman vs Elder statesmen" Denton King should play the rest of the way... (hopefully there are more Hockey nights in Oswego this year) Looking forward to 3 more years of Denton King!!!!!!!!
