The good point from what I have read and heard this team have been playing enough just to win a game haven't looked motivated so maybe this game will give that back to them, BUT it also gives other teams confidence when playing them because the unstoppable Oswego team just got stopped and the 3 headed monster know as Selleck, Laganiere and Fox are human. That loss could end up being a bad thing because it gave them motivation but gave other teams confidence. But that is just my opinion.

I doubt any team in the NCAA tournament will be lacking in confidence.

Sorry I didn't mean the NCAA I was talking mainly about the SUNYAC tournament. But your right to be there you have to have confidence but this could give a team a little bit more when they play Oswego.

Those old enough to know better still have shellshock from previous Potsdam beatings in the playoffs. There's always trepidation when it comes to the Bears.

Yes. The SUNYAC playoff game(s) (knock on wood) will be streamed live online. Audio as always on WNYO (props:cool: ) and we (WTOP!!!:D ) will be streamed live online as well. www.oswego.edu/athletics/live as was the same before for the whiteout weekend games. Hope to see you all tune in to watch!!!! :)

Wouldn't you get the lowest remaining seed? That would mean that if Mo'ville beats Fredonia, you'd get them instead.

That's indeed correct... there's just been some confusion on a few websites - look at the last few posts. All that said, I don't see an upset coming.

From my understanding the number 1 seed plays the winner of 4/5 and the number 2 seed plays the winner of 3/6? So wouldn't that mean that we can only play Brockport or Potsdam?

If they would just use the K.I.S.S. principle......
They should just say the teams are re-seeded after the play-in round
but if you do look at it, the play-in does not "connect" with the rest of the bracket

We all know that Fredonia will beat Morrisville just like we knew Oswego would beat Geneseo :rolleyes:

I am sure they reseed, but to be sure we should ask the great and pwerful Norm, he usally can quote the rules. He has them in his memory bank, in numerical order.

I wish people would stop calling the process "reseed." The seed doesn't change. If Mo'ville wins their seed doesn't change - the only thing that changes is who the winner of the 3/6 game plays. It is "re-pairing" or "re-bracketing"

OK, you are right re-pairing, and re-bracketing are more descriptive,
but it is like calling an adjustable wrench, a crescent wrench, (Crescent being a brand name)
