While awesome, I can't see a US crowd doing that. :(

Yeah most Americans don't even know the words to the Star Spangled Banner. Although if you're going to a gold medal game at the Olympics, I would hope you would know the words to the anthem.

As I learned at many grade school Christmas programs, if a small group of people know the words, it's not too hard for the rest to act like they do.

Ours was a drinking song at one point. While great, I'd prefer "America The Beautiful."

I'd say we should go for full arrogance and just use the opening theme to Team America: World Police.

At least at Olympics when they're raising flags.
