Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

Way to skate into the puck ref.

And Canada almost scores off it.

Then the linesman missed another offside.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

Great PK!

Well it's pretty easy when the US didn't move the puck and get the defense moving. Canada just packed it in below the circles in a triangle while the USA passed it around the perimeter.

Awful Awful powerplay and barely getting any shots on two 5x3 PP's. I take back my comment. This game might be over. Especially since the Canadian goalie's confidence is booming and the US is going to start gripping their sticks a bit tighter.

Gotta do some coaching here Mark Johnson. You're getting dummied right now.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

The officiating in the women's side of this tournament has been atrocious. I understand they are trying to develop female officials, but they should get some people that know what they are doing for the olympics.

And the ref finally blows the whistle because the net is off.

What's interesting is the lineswomen are from the US and Canada. You'd think they'd be used to the speed of the two teams.

Going from Mite to Olympic Hockey is a pretty big jump.
