Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

USA penalty.

The referee needs help. This is sad for a gold medal game.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

Another penalty on the USA. Both girls hitting each other and the girl that hits the ground draws the penalty.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

They're calling Canada for a dive????????

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

Going to the PP for diving on Canada. She was bound to figure out what the Canadians have been doing all game!

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

That's a really questionable call. But at least it's against them this time.

Of all the plays in this game, that was probably the least dive-ish. She got crosschecked (and was also in the crease for quite awhile, so the play should've been blown dead anyway).

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

Stop shooting the puck into her glove.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

They need to get one past her. I feel like if they get one, more might come, but that first one is key.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

They need to stop standing still on the PP, and they need to stop shooting high glove.

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

The Canadian goalie seems to be more athletic than her American counterpart

Re: Olympics Part V: The Search for Gold

2-0 after 2
SOG are 23-18 USA.

One thing these women have in common with their male counterparts is the ability (and willingness) to block shots.
