I got my tickets to the Joe back when they went on sale in early November. Not jumping the gun as an OSU fan, it's just a great time to be had as a college hockey fan. My son who is a Miami fan was invited up with us last year and didn't go - his loss. I got some pics right by the glass of Miami hoisting the cup to taunt him with for not coming up. One of the things that as an OSU fan that disappointed me when we won the cup in '04 was the NHL lockout so all those Michighan fans didn't get to enjoy seeing our banner hang there in the Joe all year long! However the team did get to party with Rick James back at the Renaissance Center after the win!

I bought mine last Saturday, i go every year its a great time a great hockey most of the time. I was disappointed as well in 04 that Michigan fans didn't get to see the buckeyes name flying above the arena during the lockout.

It's great that the CCHA gets discounted rooms at the Renaissance Center, the cost of the parking garage for 3 days is pricey. At 50 cents a ride for the people mover who needs to drive around Detroit?
Now as far as our game at Oxford Friday I predict Ohio State - 3 Miami - 1. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Ive never stayed up there. Living in Toledo i just drive back and forth but next year i am staying with it being the last year.

The party the CCHA puts on with the live band and everything at the Renaissance Center after the Friday games has always been fun. The beer used to be free but they learned their lesson on that! LOL! I think the Canadians all getting drunk on free booze was what killed the free beer. Those clowns put down enough to fill tanker trucks!

I think i may stop buy the party this year. Do they have free soda pop since i dont drink.

Alright boys, back from KC and ready to debut at the Schott this weekend.... Will be making my usual stop at O'Reillys Pub on High Street for dinner and drinks before the game (if you've never been there, it's amazing...) and then on to the Schott for a big W!!!!

Checked the seating chart on Ticketmasters website and only 64 seats left available in the lower bowl for Saturday's game!

Hmmm. Just saw the team's latest update on Facebook and they commented on honoring our 4 seniors at Saturday's game and Danny's name was there. Typo? Anyone's guess on if he'll be there.

I can tell you in all certainty that they aren't sending them out in order of how good looking one happens to be. lol!
If you don't get your email by tomorrow about playoff tickets I'd contact Jason Martin in the ticket office. A number of people I know who were season ticket holders somehow were overlooked when emails went out last spring on season ticket renewals.

Let's go BUCKEYES & finish the regular season on nothing worse than a split. Go for the sweep. I wonder how many periods it will take them to get back into the flow of the game Friday night after the bye weekend? Fridays game is on TV , College Sports Channel.
