To condense what Klbaum said the best case scenerio for us would be for us to sweep Miami, Notre Dame to sweep Michigan State, and Lake Superior to lose one to Northern Michigan. Unless I haven't had enough coffee yet to calculate it accurately that would give us 4th place.

OK, I realize this is probably a silly question, but does anyone have an extra ticket to the Friday game in Oxford? We have 3 folks heading down and only 2 tix lined up at the moment... If so, drop me a message. Thanks.

My wife is safe. She is a BG grad so she would never get mixed up with someone from "J Crew U". Just kidding, there, Miami fans. That's what I hear the BG kids say when we are up there. As an OSU grad, I don't know where that came from, that's just something I heard.

I looked this morning they were selling SRO tickets for 17 on the website

I got an idea! If Miami sweeps. We get to name your season thread next year. If you sweep, you can name ours :) I better get permission from the hardcore thread title people first though

I don't know, a thread with a mascot in quotation marks is pretty good, let's see what they suggest for their own next year first ;)

I got my tickets to the Joe back when they went on sale in early November. Not jumping the gun as an OSU fan, it's just a great time to be had as a college hockey fan. My son who is a Miami fan was invited up with us last year and didn't go - his loss. I got some pics right by the glass of Miami hoisting the cup to taunt him with for not coming up. One of the things that as an OSU fan that disappointed me when we won the cup in '04 was the NHL lockout so all those Michighan fans didn't get to enjoy seeing our banner hang there in the Joe all year long! However the team did get to party with Rick James back at the Renaissance Center after the win!
