I just found out that WBNS 10TV has conducted some interviews on OSU hockey this week and will air them during the 6:00 news tomorrow (Friday). And here I was wondering if we'd ever start to get some decent media coverage.

Called the BW3 on Bethel and was told they will in fact have the game this evening.

Hate to say it but I just called to confirm it and all they get out of Michigan is Fox Sport Detroit which is not carrying the game.

Funny you mention that because I get Fox Sports Detroit with my DirecTV package. I just checked it a few minutes ago and they're showing a HS football game. I got the game on gametracker here on the computer. We're tied 1-1 at the end of the second period. Should be an interesting third period. Hopefully we can get one in the back of the net and pull this one out. Cal Heeter has 20 saves. Hunwick for Michigan has 22 saves. Looking at the stats on gametracker, it appears to be a real tight game. Everything is pretty even other than we have twice as many penalty minutes, but both teams are scoreless on their power plays, so the penalties haven't been a big factor at this point. Our penalty kill has been pretty stingy this season.

If you go to the CCHA website you'll see on the homepage the Box titled "Stat Leaders" and can select to see stats in 8 different categories and we look good in all of them! Keep up the good work Bucks!

What a win tonight for the Guys. Killing off that 5 minute penalty was huge. Once again we see the fight this team has and what Cal means to this team. Without him this game would have been a route he made key saves all night long. They did get some luck however along the way but ill take it. Going after a sweep tomorrow which hasnt happened since like 1987 or something like that.

As usual the Columbus Dispatch gave the team last page with just the basics along with other OSU minor sports. They didn't even have the points total correct and showed us still behind, not tied with ND for the conference lead. Thanks morons!

Ferris lost last night so the Buckeyes will be no worst than tied for 1st place after tonight. Along with sole possession of first place with a win tonight it would also put michigan 11 points behind the Bucks!
