You know I was all excited about the Frozen Diamond game initially but when they scheduled it for Sunday evening it changed things. Driving back to central Ohio late evening and after sitting in the cold for so long it would add to the fatigue and I just don't want to drive under those conditions. A Saturday afternoon game would have worked for me.

In case you weren't aware of this - they have hotels and motels in Cleveland.

It would be nice but being out of town on Mondays not doable for me. I know a number of other Buckeye fans and even former team members who don't like the late Sunday scenario and won't go but would if it were a Saturday event and there are the fans who would want to take the kids but have to be in school Monday morning forcing a late drive. Don't forget it's mid-January and the high chance of bad weather in the snow belt too, weather conditions could double the drive time!

Thats one of the factor's im staying home along with they are going up against the nfl playoffs in the same time slot. I think the game would do alot better if played on a saturday but then they would have been able to play only one game on the weekend.

It's all part of a promotion being put on by the Indians so my guess is they probably have to conform to the schedule set by the people at Jacobs Field who, being baseball people just don't understand the logistics of playing a game in the dead of winter.

Thanks for posting the link. I had not realized that this is the best start the Buckeyes have had in 7 years. If they keep playing solid team defense, continue getting stellar goaltending, and get balanced scoring from the pretty talented bunch of forwards they have, good things will follow. Go Bucks.

Nice win for the Buckeyes against a good Northern Michigan squad. Would be nice to win tomorrow and get a sweep. As good as Northern Michigan is, though, that might be asking for too much. The way these kids are playing, though, it wouldn't surprise me if they came out and got another W tomorrow.

Great game today looking to sweep a very good team tomorrow, but it will be diffcult to as northern will be flying tomorrow im sure. This team is getting more and more confident each game and is starting to remind me of the tournament team a couple of years ago.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night! Remember what we said before, split on the road and sweep at home and you have a team that will finish in the top half of the conference and so far that seems possible as these kids progress.

Nothern Michigan sure didn't look like a # 14 ranked team. The Bucks really have some speed. They need to find the back of the net earlier in the games. I knew it was going to be a battle of the goalies as both of them are very good. " GO BUCKEYES GO. "

If I'm not mistaken, the Monday after is Martin Luther King Day. I know not everyone gets it off, but a lot of people do. The kids won't have to miss any school. I will be making the drive up to support them!

Hmmm. Didn't even realize about MLK Day. It didn't exist when I was growing up so it never sticks in my mind on when it comes about.
