I don't think anyone here is saying our opponents are pushovers. I think what we're saying is our team is no longer a pushover, as we just proved in AA over the weekend.

I wonder where the Bucks will land when the next poll comes out. Atleast 7th or better. Just remember the OLD SAYING , " It's not how you start the season , It's how you finish the season that counts. " Go Buckeyes Go.

9th according to INCH.

The only one that matters is pairwise and they sit 3rd in that listing.

USCHO = 9th
USA Today = 10th
Pairwise = 3

Alex Lippincott was the CCHA offensive player of the week with his 2 goals and 2 assists against Michigan.

Ryan Dzingel was the rookie of the week for his two goals and two assists against Michigan - even though the CCHA identified him as a Miami player.

The line of Dzingel, Lippincott and Chris Crane had eleven points against Michigan making them the Wolverine Killer line.:D

You Know hockey rankings are a strange bird compared to how basketball or football rankings are done. Here you have a couple of teams having played 7 or 9 games total compared to our 14 and yet are ranked ahead of us. Oh well, time will tell where all the chips will fall by the end of the season. :confused:

Well with Notre Dame losing in the shootout to Western tonight we get to keep first place at least until the weekend. :D

Thanks Fighting Sioux 23! I don't think anyone here in Columbus outside of the few hockey faithful are aware of the recognition the team has been getting in the world of college hockey lately, all news media here is tunnel visioned on the Ohio State-Michigan football game this weekend. Oh yeah, if I hear one more Urban Meyer breaking news report my head may explode!!

Hopefully with football season almost over we'll start to see better crowds at the hockey games!

I know the team needs a week off, but not having a game tonight is making me grumpy. Off to watch the women play Duluth at 7 PM. Gotta have my fix.:)

It's game week with a big series against Lake State. Win at least 1 of 2 and they can't catch us. ND has a 2 point lead on us but we have 2 games in hand. I like where we're sitting right now :) GO BUCKS!

Well we know that lake state wants to clog the neutral zone and cause turnovers with a good forecheck, thats how they won that playoff series last year. The difference this year will be ohio state has the players that will not allow the trap to be successfull if they continue to play the type of game we have seen this whole year. Should be a fun series and a chance to put some more distance between them and the pack.
