Ohio State 2024-25 Domination of the Portal Queen!

At a minimum, so far as I know, Wisconsin's uniforms have never drawn a penalty.

:-)

The refs weren't going to call a penalty on their own, it was the opposing coach whining and complaining about them that got the call.
Pretty bad when it's a penalty for outclassing everybody with the coolest jersey ever! ;)

And he got a power play out of it. That's good coaching, isn't it?

I know a lot of people who are definitely around her and never once heard anything along those lines. I feel very privileged and appreciative of the courtesy she's shown me.

I first met Nadine in 2011 at Minnesota and have always found her to be intense but charming. So I'm a fan.

Just passing along some first hand info on how her "portal ness" is playing with incoming recruits.

She's extremely sharp! When I first met her she deduced right away who I was on forum even though I thought I didn't give it away. She's quite aware of what is said here.
She's actually very nice and personable.

well if that is the case "Hi Nadine!--we met when my son played at Ohio State and you were an assistant with the Gophers!!!"

Yes, a power play. That's good coaching, isn't it?

Another silly observation. I believe that was the 18-19 season. The Buckeyes had the opportunity to change their jerseys to scarlet but the TEAM said no. The team took the penalty. The team killed the penalty and went on to defeat the Gophers 3-2. Absolutely brilliant move by the Buckeyes. That was the birth of the Muzzinator.

Do you know who else are intense but charming... Navy SEALs.

Refreshing my memory today, news report at the time (SBNation) said the illegal jerseys were the only ones they had with them. So they had no choice but to take the penalty.

But I'm sure you know better...

So why haven't they ever repeated the "brilliant" move since?

Well your source SBNation was wrong. A good news organization would have spoken to the actual athletes that played in the game so that they could report accurately. Then you would be informed with real information. So see robertearle, I do know better. I'll keep educating you ... must suck to not know anything about the OSU Buckeyes. Read the Art of War and you might have a better understanding of why they only wore them at that time.

Just epic times, the jersey situation. The excellent Alison Lukan wrote about in the Athletic:

“So, Muzerall went to her team to see what they wanted to do for the next game — take the penalty, or change their jerseys. The decision was made to start a skater down.

“As a team, we all agreed on it,” Dunne said. “We embraced it. We loved being different, we loved having the all black. As a team, we were behind coach. She wanted to do something special for us and we supported that, we loved that.”

Muzerall believes the decision unified her group. The Buckeyes killed the opening penalty, scored the first goal of the game and went on to secure the 3-2 win.”

While the jerseys are now legal after some modifications, they still have a certain Stealth flair to them, a nod to when OSU went to the Dark Side; Muzerall seemingly first acknowledged the forum; won me over with her “hey haters these jerseys aren’t for you” sort of response; and around then FHF named her the Muzzinator which stuck and was referenced on air during the playoffs this year.

Not to mention UW's uniforms are far more attractive.

The best uniforms are the cream jerseys that the Buckeyes wore this year when they beat the WI Badgers at "the rink". The Badger athletes couldn't stop staring and wishing they had them. Maybe that's why the WI Badgers lost to the OSU Buckeyes.
