I think some of our posters feel like there are certain posts that "call for response," too.
I'm fine with that. It is sometimes the content, and manner expressed, that I sometimes object to.

It's fantastic to watch three Buckeyes in the PWHL championship series doing so well. One of the best leaders, Liz Schepers and Patty winner Sophie Jaques. Wish them the best in tonight's final game. I have a feeling Clair DeGeorge will be special tonight. Buckeyes developing professional athletes. GO BUCKS!

It would help the overall conversation if maybe you were a little more congenial and less flaming in your dealing with other posters. We get your excited about the Natty. When you lost the year before to WI no one from WI was rubbing that in your face like a 5th grader on the playground who just had a kickball home run.
2024 National Champions!!!
And our MOP Goaltender was voted 3rd Team by our league. When your own league shows that much lack of respect for your program, I hope no one is actually setting around wondering why we have an Ohio Against The World mentality. I am fine with the complete lack of respect, though, because the Muzzinator uses the lack of respect to motivate us. Did you see the pregame speech against Clarkson? Think she said something about the lack of respect in there. I'll have to go back and see if I can find that.
(Would it be "trolling" to point out that the 2023 NCAA MOP wasn't on any All-WCHA team? Likewise - I think - for the 2022 and 2021 NCAA MOPs.)
You will have to refresh my memory on which Badger was the MOP last year (was it Simms?), but yeah, Paetyn Levis, the 2022 MOP, played her college hockey for OSU, so we can guarantee she did not get honored by the WCHA. And no, I don't think it's trolling to point out the WCHA's lack of respect for OSU or any other team that gets dissed when they pick their all-league teams. If I am not mistaken, I think the 2021 MOP currently plays two sports for the Buckeyes.
Very cool seeing a Buckeye score the winning goal tonight. 3 Buckeyes are National Champions and PWHL Champions. Congratulations to Liz, Sophie, and Clair. It will be interesting to see if Darwitz grabs Bilka in the 1st round.
was fortunate enough to have been at the game---and I echo all the comments about the fan support. Women's hockey is just a fantastic product. So happy to see its trajectory

Considering the turnout and fan support when they played in Detroit it may be number one on the list when they start expansion teams.
2023 was Cami Kronish. 2021 was freshman Makenna Webster. Her line with O'Brien and Caitlin Schneider had a really good tournament; they were the 3rd line on the team.. Sometimes somebody other than a regular season "star" has a big tournament. It isn't "disrespect"; it's sports, it's " they can't predict the future". The regular season isn't the tournament, and the tournament isn't the regular season.

You haven't seen the thread on forum "Michigan getting a women's team"? Their Board of Regents recently approve a feasibility study for it and the Illich family is pushing for it. You'll find the relevant info and comments on that thread. It's wrong to discuss anything Xichigan on an Ohio State thread unless you're trashing themits crazy that Michigan doesn't have a women's hockey program given the depth of quality women's programs in the area. I know they are studying the issue but what is the holdup? Its not like they don't have the money to make something like this happen
