I wouldn't mind seeing both but I don't know if the back can handle it. If only I could bring in my recliner!

Looks like they will be able to use the Schott if they host a 1st round series. The state wrestling is the weekend before this year and even that has been moved to St. John Arena. The only downfall is if a 3rd game is needed they would most likely have to play in the Barn because the basketball team has a home game against Illinois.

I was just researching this as well the other day. You could maybe do a 8 pm start for game 3. If they'd happen to host round 2 it gets more complicated with OHSSA girls bball. Nationwide could come into play.

BTW wrestling is still at the Schott per their website and ohsaa site.

I didnt see the schedule on the schott's website but i am glad they could host in the schott this year.

The Jackets have a home game on the saturday of game 2 of the 2nd round so they would have to play a afternoon game which they have done in the past.

They're talking chance of 2-4 inchs of snow in Columbus on Friday. Hope everyone considers the extra drive time to the game and especially how almost everybody who doesn't know how to drive in it will be out in force.

just switched my two hour drive to the Saturday games. Will be there in time to see the women play, have a dinner, and then pick up a brown paper bag to wear to the men's game.:D

FWIW - if someone does show up in a paper bag that's not really me, though i am tempted.

Its Game Day and lets hope the Guys come out ready to play tonight. they really need to get off to a fast start and shake these bad results that have come the last 3 games.

Well it got a little hairy late but it's a win. Came out strong and created chances all night, 43 shots. Credit the lssu goalie in the 3rd made some great saves to keep us form that 4th goal and free fries. Hjelle had to make some big saves all night. Lets get 6 Saturday.

Nice win tonight looks like they backed off in the 3rd period and hung on. Go and get the other 3 points tomorrow night and make this a great weekend of hockey.

Looking at the points standings Northern hasn't done us any favors costing 6 points last weekend and now giving Alaska 3 points. However things are still tight enough if we can complete the sweep of the Lakers for 3 and sweep Notre Dame next weekend we will be in the driver's seat of our own destiny. At this juncture sweeping at home is absolutely critical!

They still play everyone that is ahead of them and most are at home. I really like the position they are in win the home games and they sit pretty. Last night could be the game that sets this team on a good run.

Oddo seemed pretty increduous after the game last night how when being bracketed and hooked by two lakers that he gets a call for goaltender interference. Those guys hered him into him like a cattle drive.
 
Well you can't beat jumping out five nothing huh? Maybe 6-0 (sarcasm). Much needed 6 points.

The first shift of the game was awesome. Immediate pressure, good cycle, hit the post but hold it in, cycle again and Sesh buries it from the slot. 2 on the night from him and Riley Simpson with a goal on back to back nights!

Who would have predicted this one? Tied with Alaska for 5th in points but they have yet to play their game today so Northern winning would be extremely beneficial. A sweep of Notre Dame next weekend would put us in a very good position to finish high enough for a first round bye if we keep winning.
