Wow. Im all for putting your own stamp on things and agree a change needed to be made for the betterment of the program, but it seems Oz is trying to force feed the freshman to see what they all can do. Im for winning and this is not the way to do it. It is almost like what Rich rod did up and michigan he came in and told the guys this is how it is going to be like it or else. We all know where that program is today and its not a good place. Ive said it before i think Cal is the better goalie and unless Dusty is just dogging it completely in practice i dont agree with leaving him at home for a conference series.

Good Win tonight for the buckeyes. Nice to come home with 3 points on the road. Great to see the "upperclassman" have a hand in all the scoring.

We listened to the game as well and neither of us can recall his name being mentioned either (not to say they didn't, there were times we were busy with other things). Guess it will be worth to check the final game stats when they are released.

A good win tonight with more hopefully to follow. I wish they didn't broadcast on 1460. I was running errands and trying to listen to the game and it was mostly weak and a lot of static and I was as close as 2 and never farther than 5 miles from their transmitter! Perhaps listening at home would have given better reception. But whether it's 1460 or 820 OSU never goes with a station with much wattage. 610 would have been an excellent choice, when conditions were right I could get 610 clearly in East Lansing. By the way, I've got the St.Cloud at Minnesota game on TV and St.Cloud is just ripping the Gophers a new one. Amazing!

I thought we gave the game away late in the second period when one of the players took a hooking penalty and FSU scored. Both teams had a hard time scoring at even strenght.
Then FSU returned the favor and took two stupid penaltys in the third period and we sealed the game. It was great to see the power play unit scoring. 3 for 6 power play goals ( 500%) is what I think won this game. The penalty kill was very good also FSU only got 2 for 6.
What ever Coach said to the team after the second period must of hit home because we stayed out of the penalty box in the third period. It was a good team effort and alot of credit should go to the special teams for this WIN on the road.

Looks like the Columbus Dispatch is back to their old ways. No story at all about Oz's first conference win, just a small line of stats. Blue Jokers got front page though as usual and stories about high school golf and tennis are more important than OSU hockey. I don't think Ray Stein the sports editor has ever been a fan of our program.

I made the trip up to Ferris this weekend, the team looked really good we out played them both nights except in the 2nd period, John Albert looked really good Saturday, Corey Toy did not dress both nights dont think he even made the trip, Alex Carlson is now playing D (lots of you probably know that I didnt until this weekend)

The Arena the game was played in last night , is that FSU main rink or there practice rink? It looked old and not much for fan seating. I watched the game on TV.

HEY , Thanks for posting the nice pictures. I thought something was wrong. B2- Internet TV only had one camera angle that was showing the players benches and the goal nets and mid ice. The camera guy must of been standing across from the players bench. Eh.

I heard Toy's named calld. "Healthly Scratch" before the game. Confsed on the Dusty matter, he carried the team at times the last two years.

So he was on the trip then? Ok but i still dont understand why Carlson is moved to D and playing in front of a upperclassmen who has a lot of experience.
