Finally had a chance to set up my Xbox One. Played Forza 5 for about 20 minutes before bed. It looks gorgeous in HD of course.

Had no issues with the update or anything. No disc issue, but I didn't play very long.

http://rewards.forzamotorsport.net/ is a nice feature. Points accumulate across all Forza games (ex. Twitch has about 1500 pts). You can redeem them as you cross tiers for rewards in all games.

Today I redeemed for 3 Million credits in Forza 5, and 60,000 credits in both Horizon and Forza 4.

Requires you to sign in to XBL account to view.

So NBA 2K14 will give you a technical foul in the game if the Kinect detects you swearing :D

And I may be contrarian here but I find those kinds of features dumb. Because we have this technology now we can't yell at our games without the game punishing us?

I don't know if I'd want that type of feature in every game but it is kinda cool this first time (kinect sensing language).

I swear at Forza occasionally. Nothing bad hapoened. But i also didn't "setup" my kinect yet.

I bought a Veyron Super Sport and started a hypercar series. It warned me that without upgrades I wouldn't be competitive. I went anyways and finished 1st or 2nd in every race.

But I see where I am non competitive. The times I finished 2nd I never had a chance to catch the leader.

Terraria is a brilliant time waster for $2.50 on PSN this week. Also Borderlands 2 is free for plus members. I love that game.

Picked up Peggle 2 for Xbox One. If you liked the first one you will probably like this one. Several new masters, and 120 levels total.

I restarted Tapped Out when I bought my new phone last month. For whatever reason, my system fails when trying to register for an Origin account. Odd. For the iPhone, the X-mas update hasn't occurred yet. I'm at level 15 right now, saving up cash to build the Android Dungeon, otherwise I'd be adding land for expansion right now.

You can force the update through the app store instead of waiting for it to pop up as a notification. I had to do that with Android.

Only real benefits of Origin is that it saves your town for you and it lets you add friends easily.

Origin is the debbil. Heck if I can remember my password at the moment.

Level 9 right now, Springfield Elementary finishes construction in about another half-hour and should put me well into level 10.

I'm a big fan of the character finder they added with the Christmas update. Makes the game much more enjoyable for me.

LootTheWorld mobile app for Borderlands 2 lets you scan QR codes to get loot and then transfer it to your game characters. Can only transfer items based on how many stamps you have (start with 3). But you can scan as much as you want till you find items you like. Can just leave them in your apps inventory till you earn more stamps.

I searched google for "QR Codes" and started scanning. Got items ranging from level 12 to 73.
