EDIT: Correction...one game into my 2nd stint with the tiger's AA team, I got called up to AAA. I'm now a Toledo Mudhen :P

The game has been weird, I got drafted by the Tigers, traded to the Yankees, traded to the A's and then back to the Tigers over the course of about a season and a half...

Yeah, I got sick of being traded...and the unbalanced trades are horrible. I had a stint in spring training against the Twins...I didn't look ahead at the lineup, so after Mauer got a hit I was very surprised to see the Twins' new first baseman step up...some guy named Pujols. :rolleyes: He took me deep, of course. 3/5 of the Red Sox rotation is elsewhere including Beckett and Lester, Kershaw is now a Royal, Berkman is a south sider, Reyes is a Yankee, Jeter and Crawford have gone to San Diego. :confused:

I'm doing a Red Sox franchise now and the trades are just as lousy. I just dealt Lowell, Buccholz and Papi for two starting pitchers (trade bait) and Albert.

I'm playing SoulSilver.

So I went to the dragon gym in Blackthorn City after battling a bunch of level 17-20 characters in the Ice Tunnel. Funny that everyone in the gym has guys that are level 35-42. Totally forgot that Piloswine is part ground, so he's getting his butt kicked by the water moves of most of the dragons. So now I've gone back to leveling up.

When I am playing from scratch I usually just level my starter up well past the other characters and he carries me through the gyms. Only once I get to the Elite 4 do I need to start worrying about type matching.

Although since I have already beat Platinum, I just transferred over some of the pokemon from there. Having a level 100 Arceus, Charizard and Wartortle is nice. :D

So I've started playing EverQuest a bit again. Mainly because unlike other MMO's I don't have to start over. I am already at or near the end game and already have a guild to raid/group with.

I played WoW for like 3 months and just couldn't get into it. Also played other MMO for even less time and never really got past the early stages.

Plus there has been a lot of upgrades to EQ in the last year making it much easier to play even with fewer servers/players. They are also continuing to support it (11 years) as they announced their 17th Expansion for the Fall, and their FanFaire is in Las Vegas in August.

Did you buy two DSs just so you can trade to yourself? ;)

My next mission is to learn Ancient Power with Piloswine so I can evolve him to Mamoswine.

No but I do happen to have 2.

When I upgraded to the DSi, I was going to sell my DS Lite. However I realized the DSi does not have the GBA slot anymore, and I have GBA games I wanted to keep. So I ended up keeping both systems.

For 10 bucks I steamed Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic. Fun Game. Showing it's age already but still playable.

Kotor 2 is actually rather broken considering how it was rushed to stores with much of the content cut. I've even heard it mentioned that the console version is almost unplayable.

That reminds me I still have to play it through with some of the restored content since team gizka is SLOWWWWW!

Trying to decide if I want to get FIFA 2010, or FIFA World Cup 2010 when it comes out tomorrow. The WC demo seems like a pretty solid game.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to be buying WC 2010 tomorrow. I'll probably regret it afterwards, but the 100+ hours I spending playing it this summer will make it worth it.

I really can't decide which route to go. On the one hand, I think the WC would be awesome, getting to play as the US or Ivory Coast and leading them to greatness. However, I also wouldn't mind playing with the Premiere League teams or MLS and whatnot.

Yeah, I was on the PC version. But it was a decent follow-up. Granted, I don't think I ever finished it. Like most games, it's only as popular as the next best thing and IIRC when I finally played it, one of the big PS2 games came out that month.
