I don't know if you'd call it a glitch, but I was just riding up to Tall Trees with the Indian dude and the professor and saw someone shoot a buffalo and it fell over dead. Seconds later it jumped back on its feet and started running. A little further along we were riding along and all of a sudden a deer ran through the Indian...being chased by a bear, which passed through the professor. I tried, but was unable to shoot it :p

The game also has a glitch when it comes to stats...it says I've spent over 22 days playing the game, but I just got it last week. :p

And no, that isn't the number of days that have passed in the game...that is sitting at 61.

The time played glitch is one that Rockstar has recognized. The graphical glitches seem to happen more with PS3 users. Only glitch I've had happen occurred during a cut scene where my horse was interfering with what was going on. Oops. I haven't had any flying people or manimals appear. :D

In honor of the World Cup starting today (in case you hadn't heard :p) Amazon has the World Cup game in the Gold Box. $39.99 for the PS3 and 360 versions.

Just noticed the Lego Harry Potter demo is available for XBL gold members.

Not that you need to demo a Lego game if you have played one before, but hey maybe it will tide me over till the 29th. :)

ETA: Maybe you do need to play the demo. The introduction of magic use makes the game a slightly different play. Have to remember to switch between spells, and characters. As each character may have a unique spell.

Rock Band 3 debuted. It's seriously bridging the gap between video games and real instruments, at least with Guitar and Keyboard. (Yeah, Keyboard).

Pro Mode will basically force you to play exactly what's being played. Fender's making an electric guitar that can also be used for the game, it has sensors in the frets and strings.

That's Pro Mode on Expert Guitar. 6 strings (obviously) instead of 5 fret buttons.

That's not the important part, the important part is that Dio's "Rainbow In The Dark" will be on the next game.

I'd be more impressed if the full 17 minute version of "Inna Godda Davida" was on there. Think about the drum solo!

Steam has some great deals through today for Bethesda games, if you aren't on board with them yet.

Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind GOTY for $5.00
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion GOTY for $8.50
Fallout 3 GOTY for $24.99

All 3 are worthwhile. But if you are only going to get one of the ES games I would get Oblivion.

If Elder Scrolls V ever gets made, I will have to take at least a week off from work to play. :D

I caught some of Spike TV's E3 coverage yesterday. Mostly to see the Gears of War 3 preview for Xbox 360, in which case they showcased a live demo of four-player co-op storyline mode. That's going to be a lot of fun!

I liked some of the small things they added to the game, such as holding an enemy as a meatshield then sticking a frag in his back and pushing him towards the enemy and he blows them all up. Also, it appeared that you can switch weapons with your teammates on the fly by tossing it to them. I bet we see other war games start to incorporate that.

I'm hoping you guys can settle an argument I'm having. For the past few years I've been going to my friend's place to play FIFA 08 on PS3. The games were evenly matched but he won about 60% of the time. About three weeks ago I bought a PS3 and we've been playing FIFA 10 online. He's been KILLING me. I just lost 7-0 to him lol

The scores have been lopsided and I have lost every single we've played (about 25 or 30). I've been saying that my internet speed is slower than his and and that's why I've been losing. He just thinks him being godly. However my brother-in-law reported a similar problem playing a friend online in MLB Show. He said the other guy had a faster internet connection so when he swung a pitch he was always a late because the other kid was ahread of him.

Can my internet speed/connection be the cause of this? I try telling him that when I play other random people online it often freezes when I select my team because it can't establish an internet connection with the other user. When I play my friend his guys are constantly running past mine even when he has the ball.

So what do you think? Do I just suck at FIFA 10 or is my internet a legitimate cause of losing all these games.

ps. And for those wondering why I just don't play him in person like we used to, he moved right as I got the new system.

Also at E3, PlayStation Move coming out later this year offering controller-less motion tracking games.

Xbox 360 has their own motion tracking system coming out called Kinect, which also allows you to interact with your Xbox 360 interface (i.e. menus, movies, etc...) using only hand motions and voice commands.
