So I am chasing bears around trying to kill one with a knife now. Not the smartest thing to do.

I shot one and it started running away so I chased it and got a slash or two on it. But I should of known, he was just running me to another bear friend who mauled me death. :(

ETA: Finally caught one off guard who was pooping near a camp of 2 bad guys. Killed the 2 dudes, shot the bear once with HP gun. Then jumped off the horse, grabbed my knife and chased him. Got a couple hits on him and 3 wolves joined the hunt attacked both me and the bear.

Killed the bear finally, switched to gun and capped all the wolves. Epic win! :D

Ugh... I had something similar happen. except it was those godforsaken pigs. I would pay $50 for those things to go away permanently. I can't count the number of times they have ****ed me over. They don't back down like wolves or cougars. I had a bear on the ropes and running away and i was slashing until I heard that f*ing boar screech. Now I end up killing the boar only to have the bear grow a pair of balls and maul me. ****.

RDR 98.3% done.

I think the only things I have left to do for 100% are:

- Kill/Capture an outlaw at the 7 locations (out of 20) that i am missing.
- Finish Sharpshooter rank 10

I think the outlaw locations are 0.1% so that would make sense.

i can't even fathom how I'm going to complete sharpshooter10. It's **** near impossible.

I'm definitely using Evans Repeater for it (22 shots) and using dead eye when as many of a hideout or gangs members are visible.

Then I just hold the LT button down and walk so that the gun doesn't holster itself and auto reload. Because I am not sure if that forces it to fail.

Otherwise I am just aiming for right hands and shoulders, where the gun would be if they pull it.

Get behind the bar in a crowded bar and draw your gun - that should get everyone excited enough to pull theirs. Then dead-eye your way to victory.

Yeah, I've tried that. Still very hard. I'm in the same boat regarding not letting go of L2. Although, when I killed the 6 animals it was re-holstered and it still gave me the achievement.

Just started RDR. Pretty fun so far though the horse maneuvering is kind of clunky. I keep running into rocks and the like and can't turn around.

Played some horseshoes, got 3 ringers in a row!

Just as I imagine how horses are in real life. When running fast they can't just turn on a dime. :D

You need to slow down to make hard turns.

I found out the hard way that the railroad bridge between Mexico and the US near Bonnie's ranch isn't built yet. :p
Odd that your horse will whinny and refuse to go off a cliff, but will gladly gallop off a bridge...

I have seen a single glitch on the PS3 version, and that was a townsperson who spawned 250 ft in the air.
