And some good news... I just checked my Time Warner guide, and I see that both Oswego games this weekend are being broadcasted on TWS3 (digital channel 325 here in the Elmira area). I won't catch tonight's game, but I'll be sure to "park-it" in-front of the plasma for tomorrow night's contest against Nazareth.

The past few Oswego televised games were not provided in the best video quality (certainly not HD, and a bit 'fuzzy'), but I'm not going to complain one-bit. Any DIII coverage is good coverage. Reflecting back on the good ol' days of the D3CPN, this broadcast is a good thing... a very good thing!

In 2004 we went to the last regular bouncy ball game against BC. There were about 28,000 at the game and I was surprised how smoothly things went. We parked at Manley Field House and took the shuttle. The line wasn't even bad to get my Hoffman's Coney Dog (white snapper)

I have walked that ,8 of a mile a hundred times. Remember it is straight up the hill. Not a pleasant hike for anyone with issues. The shuttle from Manley is great

It's kind of funny too....years ago when they were only a two year school...they put some teams on the ice that could skate with a lot of DII/III teams !

Looks like Davie's is out for the season after getting some surgery. Rivait is out with a broken foot suffered in practice, not sure when he will be back.

He does and for some reason Canton and Nazareth left him open to take it. The Laker Power Play has been deadly so far hitting at nearly 44% mostly thanks to Galati's 5 goals.

Having a season ticket is worth it just to see Galati shoot...the question will be how will he get his shots after the good teams start adjusting to him. I think he will do just fine. :D

The Alumni Weekend I think was a huge success and I hope they continue this in years following. It was really nice to talk to some of the players prior to my time. The games could have been a bit more competitive but for the 50th celebration I think it was appropriate to have Canton and Naz play for their coaches are part of Laker History.
Coach Gilligan has a lot of work to do but I thought Canton hung tough until they scores and then something clicked and the flood gates opened but I was nicely surprised they Canton played us so well into the Second period.
Naz. was a nice test for use and they did well after the first period. Coach Roll is doing a great job with his team and they will surprise a few before the season is done.
To echo the above posts Galati is a dual threat on the power play with his big shot. He made several really nice set up passes from his spot. This means the other teams will have to play honest and just not focus on him with his shot. The better clubs will figure out how to cut down his touches on the PP but he will get his shots just because of the nice passing that is done on the PP.

And how about Justin Gilbert, he lost the starting job last year and went to work in the off season to win it back. So far this season he is 4-0 with a .83 GAA and a .962 save % with 1 shutout. His rebound control has been much better so far this season and he has been in good position. I'm hoping he keeps it up, Z can find his form again and I hope Sawyer emerges as well to give Oz a triple threat in goal that they haven't really had in a while if ever.
