Those were the days when the "aluminum " sticks came out, more like steel,great to crosscheck IFO the net,broke a few like that,but not as many helemts as Greenie did,his and opponents:eek:...Gertakis is playing some good hockey very quietly...Federow getting ice,he will get better as we go along and will be a force by seasons end I think..Willis has recovered well from his injury,needs to watch the penalties,but plays hard and hardnosed.

Exactly, sometimes you just need to knock the guy on his backside and forget about the puck. These guys seem like they are always trying to turn the play quickly by using sticks rather than the body.

I know it is hard to score a goal on your arse. This weekend one of the boys did score on his arse. I can't remember if it was Neil or Hulshoff

Yeah, Botten scored from his bottom. It would have been more impressive if he scored from someone elses bottom though.

Those of us who bought tickets through the alumni office still haven't heard a peep about our tickets. Not sure if they're mailing them to us, or if we're supposed to pick them up at will call. Three emails and two phone calls later, the only I answer I can get is "We'll check it out and let you know." Please do that...I'd like to know before next Saturday. :rolleyes:

I can confirm that Sean Federow that in 2002 played for the Ridgeway Panthers of Niagara Falls, Ontario (Town of Fort Erie), coached by Art Federow, so I would wager a yes.

Art Federow was one of the better defensemen in Laker history for sure. He backboned the stud Laker teams of the late 70's-early 80's. Tough as nails and brought it at both ends.

I took this up with the Alumni Office after reading your post - here is what I got back....

Hi Lou,

Thanks for sharing.

Everyone who registered through us for Frozen Dome Classic tickets was notified in their confirmation emails that tickets would be available for pick up at Will Call. Furthermore, anyone who has called our office or emailed us has been told that tickets will be available for pick up at Will Call, and that we are working with the Crunch to confirm the date that folks can begin to pick them up. But it's always been a definite that they are picking them up at Will Call.

So, I'm not sure what this message is referring to, honestly! We, of course, have been telling folks who call/email what is going on. My only thought is that they've called and emailed the Crunch and not received a response back from them?

I do not doubt you could have reached someone on the phone who was not informed, but at least you know where your tickets are....if you did not get a confirmation email, you may have bigger problems...?

My experience in the past is that the Will Call window is at Gate B and I've never been to an event close to these projections and parking was a pain (even with the shuttles) - I'd get there very early.

Maybe I've missed it but does anyone have times for the games? I want to check out the OSU game but not interested in the AHL...

Oswego State plays at 3pm and the Crunch play at 7pm
