Sure makes it easier, doesn't it? The Lakers TV guys are doing a very good job, but I think in the early going they were a little thrown by having just the numbers. I knew it took me some getting used to after spending 5 years in a league where all teams were required to have the names on the back.

Very happy to be able to watch this game and have it presented so well. EDIT: Great between periods show, too.

Great win,guts and grit,I cannot go into the reffing again,did in the other thread they sucked bottomline and will cost a team a game to many times...Bowdin very good team fast and skilled..

its probably me but my pic was very bad during the game,jumpy,and froze a ton.....the game the other night vs genny was the best by far.......couldnt really tell how was the crowd?? they seemed loud when we scored...looked like Gosek was giving it to the ref after the game??

Crowd was good, probably 2,000 or so with many late arrivals after classes and high school got over, oh and people trying to find a place to park. Titanic willed the team to the win and Botten was the offensive catalyst. They sure love to play close games and just never quit, they tend to go wooden in the defensive end for long periods of time but they just are never out of it.

3pm Sunday Babson Seating Capacity 600....that's SIX HUNDRED...there's been no mention all week on their site about tickets and how to get them - might be all gone already???

There's standing room around the rink for maybe another 200 or so. There is some glassed in area to the upper left as you come in, but is that the fitness club??

Oswego will now travel to Babson College for a 3 p.m. tilt on Sunday. Tickets for the quarterfinals game will go on-sale at 12 p.m. on Friday in an online capacity only at tickets.oswego.edu. Fans will be limited to two tickets per person and will be $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Purchasing the tickets online will grant fans with a voucher that will need to be exchanged at the Babson Box Office for a physical ticket. Tickets should be picked-up at the box office no later than 15 minutes before faceoff on Sunday.

Great Laker come from behind win, but whatever, we move on. Defense s-s-s-shaky again, opportunistic Polar Bears took advantage, especially telling as the blast from 20' out resulted in a goal. Impressed with Bowdoin, these Polar Bears can skate and they came to play. On to Babson for the QF.

I feel sorry for anyone who wasn't there to see the game in person...crowd was great as more people got there and Bowdoin had a nice group of fans with them. I don't know what Gosek said after that time out but what a difference...and Titanic played like a man possessed!

I won't dig the posts from awhile back that questioned The Captain and compared his contribution in terms of numbers to past captains....suffice to say he continues to step up in the biggest games for maximum impact....he wears the C for a reason and we should all be thankful....

Exactly, this team goes as he goes. For a while he was trying to be a big time scorer and it hurt the team, now he is back to doing what he does best and the team is feeding off it.

Nice gritty win by the Lakers. Things were pretty even after two, some posts, scrambles in front of the nets, good hockey game -it could have been 2-0 either way.

I don't know who put what into their bagels and coffee between the second and third, but we came out sleepwalking- unfocused and sloppy. I NEVER second guess Coach Ed- he has more hockey knowledge in his little finger.... etc,- but it was all I could do after about four minutes to not run down, pound on the glass behind the bench and yell for a time out. You could just feel Something Bad was going to happen, they needed one of those momentum-stopping basketball timeouts to use the smelling salts and refocus. Sure enough, Something Bad Happened and Coach took his timeout- which changed the game. They came out of the timeout a completely different team on a mission. I hope someone wrote down what he told them.

I apreciate the skills Waterstreet has, but I sure hope he doesn't cause the penalty that finally ends this great run. I agree with the ref's call on running into the goalie, he really didn't need to do that (why it took the ref four days, eight hours, twenty-six minutes and twelve seconds to make the call is whole 'nother story).

Nice job Captain Tites! Way to exit the building.

Keep the "rebuilding year" rolling!
