Oswego twitter feed just wrote game is postponed to 3pm Thursday.

Just saw on Facebook a photo of a bus from Northeast Charters that slid into the front of Canale's Restaurant this afternoon...maybe Bowdoin's charter? Stop for a team meal and....

Some noise in Oz that the game may be moved up to 1pm to enable Bowdoin to catch a flight from Syracuse...didn't think they were outside of 500 miles...anyone care to speculate on this speculation? Nothing confirmed as of now...just noise from reliable sources...

The school could pay that expense if they want to. It's allowable for them to fly, but the NCAA will only pay for a bus on trips of less than 500 miles.

If it is more than 500 miles, the NCAA has to pay for a flight.

The decision to fly back was probably for one of two reasons:

1. If they're not on Spring Break, they can make it to their Friday classes and only miss 3 days of school instead of 4.

2. Their bus was in a restaurant... it might have had something to do with that.

Someone asked why not just play if they are in town. It would be a massive safety problem for all concerned if you ask me.

Be careful, the Genny fans that came out of their holes due to their good season will get all over you for posting that. According to them Geneseo overachieved because a meaningless preseason coaches poll projected them third and Oswego second.
