Re: Official Drinking Thread: I'm Having A 6-Pack Attack!: Part The Sixth

I'll be having my favorite beer tonight: my 3rd.

Starting a 6-day weekend, and a mini-vacation/wedding trip with some New Belgium 1554. Oh how I missed thee. Perfect weather for it.

Attn locals: At Big Top Liquor near Ridgedale, Alaskan White is $3.99 for a sixer. Yes, you read that right. Less than FOUR FRIGGIN' DOLLARS for a sixer of Alaskan White.

Happy I had the perfect Karmeliet Tripel glass to match.

Where do you find such glassware? I've found some beer that I enjoy recommend those glasses.

Premier in Osseo. Mark will hook you up if you spend some time with him. btw - they are adding 1,400 square feet this winter primarly for beer and his main beer guy just went through some instructional course that very few in the US have passed.

btw you can buy a Paulaner Oktoberfest bomber with a large mug for about $18 at Sids.

If that's the litre can of Wiesn, I have a four glass set already. :o (top 5 beer all time, btw. Yes, serious)

Good to know. Some of the beers we had (okay, okay, many of the beers we had) at an awesome bar in Denver served the beer in those glasses, hence my curiosity. Blue Moon Vintage Blonde (IIRC that was the name) was hands down the best we had. Yeah. Blue Moon blended with Chardonnay. My Parise it was awesome.

Got some Redbreast 15y. Having three fingers and cube to celebrate my raise, then putting the rest on the back of the shelf until December, when my Master's degree will be complete and the holidays will be here.

I've got KBC Olde Ore Dock (formerly known as 36 Schilling) for the hockey games. First I've seen of it downstate.

Hey Brent...do you remember which bar it was that you went to?

KBC Widowmaker, Tennessee Honey and Maker's 46 will be my three poisons of choice for tonight.

Woodchuck Cider. Goes down like apple juice, but with the fun after effects of not being just apple juice. :)

I like Magners a bit more. That stuff is really good!

Chilly? Since you're from MN, I'm curious what the hell is chilly?

PS: it's 80 degrees in Oakdale, MN right now.
