Forget his tires, he and his teammates should want to reclaim their manhood. One of the Sedin Sisters was asked about Marchand using his head as a punching bag and said he hoped the referee would call a penalty if it happened again. WHAT? No, this is hockey. The correct answer is: If he does it again I'll knock his block off." When Joe Thornton is calling you soft and sticking his finger in your mouth, you're not just soft, you're a creampuff.
Felger and Mazz are just shredding 7uongo and the rest of the Canucks now. They asked an interesting question: How would you feel knowing this wuss is your goaltender?

Apparently this was the first time ever Corey Schnieder has had a chance to play for the home town crowd. And... considering the run Schneider's had this season, it's sounds like a good plan.
Today the Canucks practiced at Harvard's ice arena. Insert jokes about confirming being creampuffs here.

This. Between what the NBA players agreed to (less than 50% down from 57%) and the reality that they have nothing to really bargain with otherwise. Probably didn't help matters that the league announced it as a fait accompli.

From a player's standpoint (which is all Donald Fehr cares about) he did just fine. The average salary for a player in 1986 was $417,192. In 1995 it was $1,071,029. In his final year at the MLBPA in 2009, the average salary was $3,240,206. How many professions do you know of that see their salaries rise by 776% in 23 years?
If you're thinking about the steroid era...Donald Fehr isn't going to lose any sleep over protecting the players' privacy rights, or using those rights as a bargaining chip in negotiations with ownership.

I'm ok with parts of the realignment plan... I don't understand if they plan to go with division playoffs why not do a 4/5 swing as has been employed in the AHL... if the best 5th of one is better than the 4th of the other the 5th takes their spot.
