When this team can score and gain some self confidence they are awesome, but when Western scored the first goal tonight they just fell to pieces. Most goals allowed in a game all season. They were out skated, unorganized, and taking bad penalties. I hope they recoup for tomorrow's game and put this "October play" to bed for the season.
Western played a very good game, and they needed to to get a bid to the NCAA tourney. They needed it and wanted it more, and I think the final score reflects that.

Well, at least the second game was worth the price of admission.

No I won't kick you guys when you're down although some OSU fans have been prompting me to do so.
Miami didn't seem to be playing with intensity from what I saw today but during the time they did seem to get things working Wilkins seemed hell bent on smacking them down every time with a penalty! He must have thought any Ohio team is the same as another as that's what he likes to do to us. It seemed like he made at least 10 solo calls with most of them looking questionable. The refs in the next game let them play.Playing conditions were brutal today as a heavy fog was on the river and make humidity and ice conditions in the Joe terrible but it was the same conditions for both teams. miami had a good run going but that's the breaks, we've all been there. The only critique I have for Miami is the poor turnout on the number of fans, I thought you guys would be here in force for your team.

Wow, that loss really hurt us in the PWR standings, currently sitting at a #3 seed. As much as I don't want to play BG right now (what year is it...?), at least they aren't playing for their season tonight, so that may help us.

I know, I drove up from Oxford Friday but I'm not saying it should be students necessairly. There's a lot of fans that attend Miami's home games who aren't students that I would have thought could have taken a day off work and made it up. Heck, even your school president was here. BYW guys, as far as you not liking what I post sometimes I'll say this in my defense that I've alway been civil until I see an unappreciated comment towards OSU by a Miami poster. Taking a few good natured pokes at each other doesn't count but I've never started a hostile diologue.

Had hoped to make it up but between meetings and conference calls had no chance. Will be sure to make sure that isn't the case next march
