Official 2011-2012 Miami Season Thread Part II: (OH) Yeah!

Re: Official 2011-2012 Miami Season Thread Part II: (OH) Yeah!

Reilly Smith made "The Big Board" for the INCH Hobey Tracker. I don't think anyone expects him to win it, but it's a nice kudos to a fantastic goal scorer.

Too much logic in this post. Doesn't compute.

The apparent employment of logic is indicative of the fact that I'm (unfortunately) not partaking in the festivities. This will hopefully be remedied this weekend with my fellow NYC alumni.

Best way to sum up the CCHA regular season.

Re: Official 2011-2012 Miami Season Thread Part II: (OH) Yeah!

how does that sum up the season. I'm really confused. There was no scalping

(NSFW)

I was expecting the Akbar thing to be about trap [games]! <img src ="http://antsmarching.org/forum/images/smilies/ackbarTrap.gif">

It wasn't really about anything just a piece of corn named AKBAR :)

In case anyone is interested and wants to watch a game for free while Miami preps for MSU. I can only imagine this will be a very interesting game...

Copied this off the ND website - • Internet: Video: Games one and three of the series will be streamed live on the Notre Dame website at UND.com. There is no charge to view these games. Audio: Notre Dame will provide live audio for all three games of the series on the Notre Dame website at UND.com.

Rico interviewed on CHN's podcast. Saw it tweeted this morning, but I think it's from sometime last week.

The interviewer names Schilling and Spinell as our top two defensive leaders, and talks at great length about how great it is to have production from senior players - namely Reilly Smith. Gotta love college hockey media coverage.

3 days until puck drop and I'll be there! I'm planning to play with some other alumni in the hockey band on Friday but was hoping to be a regular spectator on Saturday. Tried to get tickets or even SRO tickets, but it seems they are all sold out. I know student tickets are going for $3 and the student section never fills up during these playoff games coinciding with Spring Break, but I don't think my old ID will get me in these days. Worst case scenario is I break out the tuba for a second night, but hoping that I find a way to infiltrate the student section :p

Old IDs are still good for another year or two, I've been using mine all season. They only issued the new cards to students living on campus/in sororities, so there are plenty of the original ones still in use.

If they ask, you're just enjoying the best eight years of your life.

That's what I thought by one of my friends who is still in Oxford said that they've been scrutinizing old IDs more closely for games. We'll just have to find out... I'd be willing to pay the normal ticket price if the tickets were available, but if the tickets for the public are all sold out and they're going to just let student seats sit empty on a playoff weekend, I will break out my student ID without compunction.
