I know I shouldn't touch your posts with a 10-ft pole, but technically Roe v Wade simply struck down some Texas laws as unconstitutional because they violated individuals' constitutional rights to privacy. That IS their job, no?

Remind me again where a "right to privacy" is mentioned in the Constitution, I've forgotten.

Part of the penumbra.

Robert Bork asked that same question at his confirmation hearing. We know how that came out.

Still probably one of the two or three most qualified nominees of my lifetime. And that speech Ted Kennedy (His Lushfullness) made on the floor of the Senate is still one of the worst examples of demagoguery ever. Recall, Democrats even went so far as to investigate Bork's video rental records. They were looking, one presumes, for evidence he had rented "Debbie Does Dallas," or even better "Donnie Does Dallas." A really low point in the confirmation process.

Meanwhile, two of His Communityorganizerness' bestest pals from the old days, Bill and Bernadine, explain to reporters why they're two of the biggest a*sholes who ever decorated a wanted poster. The most redeeming thing the Weather Underground ever did was to blow themselves to hell in that Greenwich Village bomb factory. Too bad more of 'em didn't wind up taking the dirt nap. And Ayers and Dohrn should each have taken one in the face. Scroll down for the video as this commie putz whines about having to wait while GI's get to board a flight ahead of him. As Herb Morrison said: "Oh, the humanity."

I don't understand, Debbie does Dallas was a really good movie!

I thought so, too. But it would have been "inappropriate" for a potential Supreme is the "reasoning" that would have been employed.

I'm not complaining! I have been halfies in at least four abortions (that I've been told about).

These are some of the folks Obamabuddy Bill Ayers doesn't want boarding an airplane ahead of him. What he and the rest of the commie trash don't appreciate is that what these folks (and others like them) do every single day is more important than anything this commie punk has done in his entire life.

Right, a Nixon stooge who participated in the cover up by firing the special prosecutor investigating the Watergate crimes. No problems giving a guy like that a lifetime appointment.

Good reasons to not affirm him, not good reasons to stoop as low as they did. This clearly isn't a one party issue, neither side can claim the high ground when they both pull these types of antics.

The woman makes her choice when she has sex.

Looks like somebody lost his instruction manual! You do know that women don't get pregnant every time they have sex, right? Right?:D

Well duh, but it still takes sexual intercourse in order to get pregnant. I'm well aware of contraceptives, and I'm perfectly fine with their use (and would even recommend them), but as studies have shown, there is still a risk of getting pregnant, albeit minimal (but still greater than 0). By having sex, it's like hitting the agree button when installing a piece of software. You agree to the associated risks.
