Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

The NSB Tournament starts tomorrow ... not one word about it here? Where are you people?

It's a "Bridge Year" for the Cadets and the fan base is lacking confidence so far. Need wins over a couple to "good" teams. (Amherst, Plattsburgh, Middlebury and Babson come to mind)

I am curious to see how this Cadets team fares over the next 16 days. With 5 very tough games (Boston,Amherst,Plattsburgh, Midd & Babson) looming, I think we'll have a pretty good idea. I think if they can win 3 of those, they'll be in pretty good shape. More than that and they're for real. Less than that.....you're playing with fire.

From what I've seen, they are pretty solid in the back as usual. Is there enough firepower up front?? McShane will probably be worth an extra win or two.

Any word on where the MSOE team is tonight? Last we heard they were stuck at the Baltimore airport.
East coast air space is shut down until late tomorrow morning....Boston Logan closed this afternoon with an expected opening of 12noon tomorrow - afraid if they didn't get out tonight they may not get there by tomorrow night....

I just made the drive from Silver Spring, MD to Plattsburgh. Took me 9 hrs (9:30 - 18:30). Northway was single lane plowed to pavement, but I DID get passed by a team bus around the Lake Placid exit that was doing around 70.

All flights made it from Baltimore to Manchester N.H., Have to assume they were on a couple of those flights but not confirmed yet.

It has been very quiet on this thread, maybe everyone's fingers are too cold to type!:D However, we need to warm up the team and light a fire under them. I think the more support a team has the higher the intensity of play and desire. They are young, but from what I have seen, very talented and capable.

Cadet Crosby, Keep us posted, Please. I could use a good hockey game right about now.

MSOE has arrived but their equipment is still in Baltimore. Should be arriving on a flight early this afternoon.

I have a some what beat up old Northland Pro wooden stick with black electricians tape (circa 1962) and a even more wornout pair of CCM skates (size 11 1/2 D) that I would be more than happy to loan to MSOE. Please advise. :)

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Old Rook, doubt we could get your well intended equipement here from Maine in enough time to help out MSOE. But... how about my old broomball shoes and a couple of worn down brooms? I am sure there is enough broomball equipement in Central Vermont to help out MSOE.

On a serious note, glad everyone made it here safe. Now let's play hockey!

Anybody know if the Plymouth-Amherst game will have video or just audio? Trying to enjoy the last hour of the work week here in Concord and could use a good distraction! (shhhh)

Just Audio, though I do believe the 4pm UW-Stout - Utica game being played in Oswego will have Video.

Audio and Live Stats for both non-Norwich games and video, live stats, audio for all Norwich games.
