Norwich 14-15

Re: Norwich 14-15

Has the Norwich roster been posted online yet. The preseason games start this weekend. Also is the ST. Jerome game on Sunday going to be streamed; not sure if the junior A Canadian teams stream there games in PQ.

The real question is: Have you paid your lost wager yet?

Re: Norwich 14-15

Boy hawk...bust my chops for not having the roster up and then nothing to say once it actually goes up?

Derick I think you have been out in the rain too much lately covering all you fall sports at Norwich so I understand the roster delay. In reference to the PQ games this weekend is WDEV going to broadcast them. I would of liked to see the team play UQTR at PQ but I guess we will have to wait until next year. Like all Norwich fans I am curious to see how the current Cadet team stacks up against some of the top eastern teams like Middlebury, Williams, Plattsburgh, Geneso, and Oswego. Also waiting to see how my second favorite team Castleton improves with there new coach. But of all the preseason news I have seen it seems that Geneso continues to pull in the talent in the SUNY.

Sorry Hawk ... no WDEV coverage this weekend ... but I will be going to the game at St. Jerome on Sunday.

Re: Norwich 14-15

Prez is there blog or facebook link to see what the Cadets are doing on the PQ trip? It would be interesting to get lnfo on the various PQ junior leagues.

Re: Norwich 14-15

Norwich beats St. Jerome 3-1 with an empty net goal at the end. Commo was at the game, I'm sure he'll have a full rundown of things when he gets to his hotel room tonight with the Mrs.

<strike>I'm working on trying to get goal scorers.</strike>

NU goal scorers were Ryan Whitell, Gerard McEleney and Nevin Lawler.

Cadets win the second game of the Quebec trip, beating the St. Jerome Panthers this afternoon 3-1. Goals for Whitell (playing forward on a line with Lawler and McEleney), McEleney (on a PP) and Lawler (EN).
Several players (Pelletier, Niezgoda, Ermakov, Suroweic)out for this one with various injuries (most thought to be minor)
Norwich won 7-1 against a different opponent Friday night 7-1. From those who saw both games (I only saw today) the word was this was by far the tougher game. St. Jerome very physical (read chippy). A lot of stick stuff ... but good prep for the regular season.
Bring on Plymouth State ... join me and our new color commentator Cory Gustafson for the game on WDEV ...
Note - No NSN for this one ... WDEV only.

Whitell and Lawler on the same line? Wish you had a pic of the goal celebration. That definately is the long and short of it!

Thanks for the report Puck Voice. Is Tanner Acebo busy with something else Friday night or is he not doing color this season. I think I heard at the end of last season that he had other opportunities for 2014-15. I am sure Cory will do a great job, but Tanner's shoes will be tough to fill. Sure am glad you aren't going anywhere!
