Northeastern Huskies 2018-19: New Breed, Old Snarl

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2018-19: New Breed, Old Snarl

The new athletics website is up and operating at nuhuskies.com. The old gonu.com will redirect to the new URL but we all might as well change our bookmarks. Lots of video and social media integration.

nice website, lots of integration. good to read on some of the cool features (fan seat photography etc) coming to Matthews. I think kids will have a lot of fun with that. Also looking forward to the new ctr ice video board whenever that happens. Just wish/ ed they would've left the gonu.com name alone. It is a good name. Anyway, hoping they keep it regardless.

Now here's wishing for some good kind of 'howlin this wknd. Go Huskies :)

thx for the write up Revengeance & hoping Davies is back in the line up soon. that is big loss gm in gm out.
tough wknd ahead but i've seen my share of upsets at Matthews over the yrs so here's hoping.

first let's start afresh with full effort tomorrow.
Go Huskies :)

3rd period.. SCSU up by a score of 5-1 @ BC tonight. Not taking anything from tomorrow night but NU got their work cut out Saturday for sure. Coaching change or not.. St Cloud firing on all cylinders, early season.

correction on the score from the Heights; i believe St Cl Huskies posted a shutout. Certainly playing some strong hockey right now. Hopefully NU can give them a better gm.

Lowell away gm always a good atmosphere. Here's hoping the Huskies road play better than the effort @ home. Is Davies back in for us? Let's get HE play started off right.
Go NU :)

They may find themselves playing in front of an intimate gathering of family and friends what with the Red Sox on TV at the same time. Same for tomorrow night.

• Tully Forum
• Thompson Arena (Dartmouth - Hanover, N.H.)
• Fenway Park
• The SSE Arena (Belfast, Northern Ireland)

Except for the playoffs, Lowell hasn't had a crowd under 4000 for a Friday or Saturday night game since Colorado College was at Tsongas in October of 2015. The last time they had a crowd under 3000 for a Friday/Saturday night game was a Black Friday game against Alabama-Huntsville in November of 2011. The last time they had under 3000 for a league game was against Merrimack in January of 2009.

I wouldn't count on the crowd being "intimate".

love what you guys have done with Tsongas.. concessions, fan outreach & all.

Broken-hearted knowing that the Comm Ave Coalition got shutout by a combined score of 12-0 on successive nights. Not to look past St. Cloud tomorrow but the opponent after that is none other than the coalition partner on Lower Comm Ave.

BTW: Maddening to know that RPI beat Union tonight.
