They also said Cronin had his hands on/touched one of the BU players (Clandenning?) and were afraid Cronin could get suspended again. They made it sound like NU was in the wrong and were upset that NU could've put a black mark on their win. Again, this is coming from the NU perspective, NOT the BU perspective.

I wonder if these NU broadcasters know hockey because LaPlante made the right move to send them to the locker room. It was a genuine shizshow.

Cronin didn't put his hands on him... not quite sure where that came from.

Cronin also grabbed Clendening briefly when Clendening said something to him.

so the cheater went to celebrate with his players rather than go to center ice and shake hands with the coach he just defeated? :confused:

Wasn't the coach, it was the official who directed them off. And Parker and Cronin hugged after all of the hullaballoo. A whole lot of something out of nothing.

Cronin certainly got in Clendening's face...not sure if he touched him, but seemed like he was very close to starting something...never really seen anything like that...certainly not professional, but I don't anything will come of it. Go argue with the other teams head coach, but nothing good come from yelling at another team's player.

Sincere congrats to NU and their fans. I've always admired how devoted your fans are and how gritty your team plays. Really hope you can make some noise beyond tonight...I'll certainly be rooting for you,

LOL. Grasping here a bit... minus all the shenanigans now that I think back maybe Cronin was heading there to control his players from doing anything stupid? Either way its not like his intentions were to not shake hands with parker and his assistants.

understandable then. he knows they have to control themselves since they still have games to play.. unlike clendening.

I didn't quote you, seems like after every game where something happens slightly out of the ordinary, some yahoo northeastern fan jumps on here and says "ZOMG were rivals now!!!!"
 
Congrats to NU...their fans were great.

I saw Dongara, Guzior, and Rawlings (among others) waving goodbye to any BU player they came across at the end of the game. Dongara and Guzior were actually seeking out BU players to taunt. Pretty bush league, IMO. There are frequently scrums at the end of games, and teams still manage to shake hands. But the NU players were completely without grace...no wonder they got sent off.

They might act like they've been there before...

Its just the frustration of years pent up vs. BU. I've had season tickets for ten years and never seen the huskies beat BU in a game that mattered.
