It sounds like they plan on putting it on the jerseys as the primary logo. I hope not as to me it just doesn't work for that. It would make for excellent shoulder patches, but if they try to make it the main logo, it'll look like crap I think.

I agree Dirty. Throw it on the shoulders and keep the jersey like it was last season

It could be worse, I don't know how or in what possible context but if man can land on the moon then it is possible for this logo situation to be worse.

Nothing was going to measure up to the Bennett Brien design, for a couple of reasons. It was beautiful, it was "organic" in some ways, and it was loyal to the Sioux tradition. So we were not going to be happy with anything but a similar sioux logo. But the new one is not bad, IMO. And to the extent it falls short of expectatiions, it won't change what takes place on the ice or in the classroom.

Thoughts on the new logo. We had Founders KBS, but since "Kentucky" implies bourbon had to change it. Instead of going back to Founders (Ben Brien) we went to Anheuser-Busch and got Budweiser.

Don't hate it, but don't love it either.

Good metaphor. How would you do that with cars? We now have something like a Taurus, I guess, but what were we driving before the accident?

Incoming freshman Tyson Jost picked 10th overall by the Avalanche. 2 years max and he's gone. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy watching him and Boeser together this upcoming season
