No, it's not. It IS quite like the "bar example." Wearing low-cut blouses, short skirts, etc, is asking to at least get ogled (is the ogling a correct behavior? NO). But it would be attention-getting clothes. Just because ogling is wrong doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Better way of putting it: if one wears attention-getting clothes, you will get attention (good or bad).

It's not the woman's fault that the man doesn't have the self control to abide by a "look but don't touch" rule that society has basically enacted.

It's not, but it doesn't make it any less true.

It's like a fat guy wearing a Speedo at the beach. He's GONNA get looked at, and in a very bad way. A different bad way, but a bad way just the same.

Why do you keep doubling down on stupid comparisons, Brent? ;) They're not similar in any way, shape, or fashion. More to the point not one single person here is contesting that an attractive woman won't garner brief attention in the workplace. Not one single person here is suggesting an occasional glance equates to sexual harassment. Not one. There is one particular girl at my place that is model-hot and even though she dresses more than appropriately she cannot hide that level of hot. Meaning she does not flaunt it but she is so gorgeous she'd have to wear a layer of sweaters over a pantsuit to hide it and even then I doubt she'd fully hide it. Yet somehow I'm professional enough to not stare her down nor lock my gaze on her chest/legs/ass, I somehow am able to refrain myself from slapping her in the ***, whistling, using sexual innuendo and I've never once suggested we go out on a date. Is that too much for a woman to ask? Because that is the behavior being referred to here as out of bounds - not being a man and noticing someone is beautiful.

Not only that but the accuser is a right winger. Why the hell would I care about her according to you? Oh, and you're assuming again. Good job. Everyone gets to assume about me but I can't assume about them. Typical double standard around here.

FTR I am massively consistent on this issue and if it were MSNBC I'd be even more upset.

If it harm none, do it.
Protect the weak from the strong.

Yeah, I'm repeating myself, but if you recognize the first and follow the latter two, things would be a lot better.

There's nothing we can do about the King, but I would argue that the history of human civilization is the story of our slowly overthrowing the Queen. Agriculture, animal husbandry, medicine, birth control, genetic research... little by little we are making the Queen our b-tch.

So you post how no one is defending him, then someone defends him and explains and you then attack the person because you cant just admit you might not know what you are talking about? Its a bold strategy but I dont think anyone is buying what you are selling. :D

And if you honestly think I give two craps what you think of my opinion then you are more foolish than my posts that you care so much to rip :p
