White Bear Lake hockey coach arrested in St. Paul prostitution sting

An assistant coach for the White Bear Lake Area High School girls hockey team is on administrative leave after he was arrested in St. Paul last week in an undercover prostitution sting.

Police cited Bradley David Sperling, 45, of White Bear Lake, for engaging in prostitution, a misdemeanor.

The St. Paul police vice unit was conducting an undercover operation last Tuesday, in which nine men were arrested.

Sperling went to a location that police were using for the sting last Tuesday at about 1:20 p.m., allegedly agreed to pay $100 to an undercover female officer for sexual services, and was arrested, said Sgt. Paul Schnell, police spokesman.

Schnell said he thought the scenario was similar to a sting the department has used in the past — undercover officers post ads on Web sites, offering sex for money and "Johns" respond to the ads.

The White Bear Lake Area Public Schools received a complaint about Sperling on Friday and he was "immediately placed on leave," said Marisa Vette, communications coordinator. Sperling has been the assistant coach for the girls hockey team since 2003, she said.

A woman who answered the phone at Sperling's home Monday said they had no comment and hung up.

Re: Nice Planet © 2009

I see where ambulance chaser John Edwards has admitted paternity for his doxey's kid. Some observations:

1. Does anybody really care what this bag of wet brownies thinks about anything?

2. Has there ever been a worse kept secret?

3. Notice that this phoney punk didn't have the nards to let NBC interview HIM, he sent out a flunky to speak for him.

4. This guy makes other politicians who've been caught tom catting around look like Albert Schweitzer. As a nation we're way better off without this disgusting hypocrite on the national political scene.

5. Two Americas my azz!

6. Now this piece of cheese in Haiti, "doing good." God spare us anymore, please.

"National Enquirer Submits for Pulitzer Prize After John Edwards Admits Paternity of Rielle Hunter's Daughter"
Heck, they broke a major story first. Why not? :D

BUT NO!

"Pulitzer Committee Says National Enquirer 'Ineligible' for Top Journalism Prize"

"We checked the Enquirer Web site and it apparently calls itself a magazine. Under our rules, magazines (both print and Web versions) and broadcast entities are ineligible," said the prize administrator Sig Gissler in an email.

Dear God (our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ), I'm sick of this guy already.

Can he please be drafted by the Cowboys* so I don't have to hear from him again?

*Munich Cowboys, that is.

The picture implies this happened at Rockoff Hall. Sadly and sickly, I'm sure some of the abusers got their "Rockoffs" (or do I have the 's' in the wrong spot?) from this.

New Jersey: Where you beat your new friend with a wooden stick until they're bloodied and can't sit.

Women. Rutgers. I can't wait until Don Anus, ... er, I mean Don Imus chimes in on this.

Ugh. I have friends in a fraternity at Rutgers (that I know from firsthand experience does not paddle anyone :p) and I suspect this will only cause them headaches.

Though, better a few headaches than another case of what can only be described as assault.

He might like to chime in about this, but given his last remarks about women from Rutgers, he just might want to stay away from the topic if he can. :D

Regardless, for the love of God make sure the governor wears a seatbelt during all of this.
