Young white couple pulled from their car and beaten, by black punks in Brooklyn. I wonder if either of the victims looks like an imaginary Obama offspring. Or if CNN will stop flogging the case of the kid who died in the wrestling mat long enough to notice. Or NBC. Or the Revs. Or any of the ad hoc "racial incident" lynch mob.

Lol, the media doesn't care about minorities. They care about the attention and viewers (ad revenue!) they get from hyping up stories about minorities. It's a lot easier to get people all angry if you use someone who is already at a disadvantage.

Then how do you explain the near total lack of coverage of black folks gunned down in the streets of Chicago (to pick just one city)? People slaughtered nearly every day by other black people. Compare that silence to the hysterical and deliberately deceptive coverage of the death of a black teenager at the hands of a white man.

Blacks on blacks means people are on equal footing. It's when you get the whites (or "white hispanics") who attack or kill an underprivileged minority that the media can really hype up the coverage.

That analysis, while factually true, misses the much larger problem here. The media are not concerned with "equal footing." They are concerned with flogging the narrative of America as a "racist" nation. Check out CNN's continuing coverage of the unfortunate black teenager who died in a rolled up wrestling mat. They clearly want that sad event to mature into another "incident."

Another GD live-in boyfriend! I don't know which is worse, the sadist who did this to a helpless infant or the pathetic b*tch who so desperately needed the occasional slap and tickle she stood by while he did it. In Texas they'd drop this a*shole like a bad habit.

I lived with Mrs. MBO for two years before we got married and I'd never comprehend doing that to my little one. It's just awful when a kid dies. I may be liberal in some ways of thinking, but when it comes to crimes against kids, I'm as Conservative as they get.

Are there differences between liberals and conservatives when it comes to crimes against kids? I guess death penalty but anyone who justifies crimes against children without a maximum penalty is wrong in my book.

I think the difference would show up when it came to the people involved. Was the doer "depraved on account of he's deprived?" And, "we can't necessarily blame the woman, her father was a putz who abused her." Liberals would be more likely to have these concerns. Conservatives would want to drop both of them in the grease.

We're coming up on Halloween, which we recall was nearly ruined by hysterical media reporting of phony incidents of candy tampering. The only proven case of a kid being killed by candy occurred in Houston, where a guy named Ronald Clark O'Bryan poisoned his little boy for the insurance money. O'Bryan also passed out poisoned candy to several other kids in the neighborhood, to deflect suspicion (none of them were hurt). Guess what the state of Texas did to him.

Talk about abuse of process. Texas dad files "bullying" complaint against the coach of the team that beat his precious little son's team 91-0. I'd imagine the kid is far more embarrassed by his dad than he is about his team getting waxed for the umpteenth time this year. If he had to chose, would he prefer to get his butt kicked or have a wussbag weenie for a dad?
