Girl DD's for a friend, school suspends her from the volleyball team under zero tolerance.

If I was her father, I'd tell her walk right into school the next day like nothing happened. Then march up to her volleyball coach and say "I'm not leaving. Either I play or no one plays." If anyone gives her any trouble, she is to put me on the phone.
Yep, I would get a hold of a lawyer who would be more than happy to take my money to file suit against the school for barring my daughter from playing, which would in theory tie things up so that the whole dang team can't play. I would also politely tell the other Volleyball parents my plan, and ask them to start lining up their lawyers as well. Surely they would want to side with having the team captain back on the court. The school would see the lawyers lining up, and then be forced to do the right thing, which would be to reverse their idiotic policy.

100% agree with Twitch's plan there... The kid did ZERO wrong... By the way the policy is being enforced, I think we should suspend anyone who has a locker in the same hallway when a kid brings in an aspirin...

I wonder if this school has a Facebook page? Just start spamming it with "This School Hates DD's" and crap like that... The world needs to start dealing with this kind of stupidity harshly and swiftly

Yep. Somebody coming in to DD should never be punished.

I wouldn't get the lawyers involved, but I would start a campaign on social media and try to get some inches in the OpEd section stating that by the actions taken against their daughter, the school has proven that it supports drunk driving and placing children in peril. I would make it loud, and I would repeat it for all to hear. I would take it to the city council and even to my state representatives. Make sure that they know the school and the district support more drunk driving on their local streets.

Along those similar lines: http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/news/sexting-shame-and-suicide-20130917

What is most stressing to me about the one I posted is how the parents of the boys who committed this act still don't seem to think they were criminal in nature and that their kids are perfect boys. Also how school administrators just don't seem to...want to even acknowledge that its going on.

Guess he couldn't find a tree! :D

True story -- I stopped a guy in a Camaro for speeding. As I approached the car I saw him reach inside his coat. After taking him out of the car at gunpoint he blustered that he was reaching for the sperm sample he was taking to the lab after having a vasectomy. He was keeping it warm and was speeding so the little guys wouldn't die.

A motorcyclist who authorities say was driving his bike at speeds that reached 140 mph told central Illinois police he was rushing because he needed to use the bathroom.

The Pekin Daily Times reports 26-year-old Adam Lester was arrested Tuesday night after a Pekin officer clocked him going more than two-and-a-half times the speed limit over a Tazewell County bridge.

A police department spokesman says the officer checked the radar gun twice to verify the reading. The speed limit in the area is 55 mph.

So you are saying they have a lot in common with East Coast hockey teams :p

Could be. But that wasn't on my mind. Having a player mutiny on the most respected HBCU program in the country is distressing. During my Louisiana days I went to the annual college football news conference in Alexandria. Every head coach from around the state came, including Eddie Robinson. The coach was the best I've ever seen at lowering expectations. If he returned 19 of 22 starters from a team that went undefeated and averaged 50 points a game, he'd complain about his punter. Or that he only had "two or three" first round draft picks on the squad.

One year Grambling had had a minor run in with the NC$$ and we were anxious to hear what Eddie had to say. He said dealing with the NC$$ reminded him of what the hurricane said to the pecan tree: "Hold on to your n*ts boy, this ain't no ordinary b**w job." One of the greatest men I've ever met. Certainly one of the greatest coaches, too. And a class act.
