And it's nice to note that just a few days after the outrage in Tucson, and the despicable attempts by Democrats to politicize it, that some of the union goons protesting in Madison found time to create a poster with cross hairs over governor walker's face. Very nice. So while I'm still waiting for outrage from the left for calling Herman Cain a "monkey," I'm also waiting for lefty outrage over this apparant "call for violence." Meanwhile, Dopey and I are double dating tonight at Black Eyed Pea.

There's no shortage of things to be outraged about when it comes to the extreme left. Same with the extreme right. For every "union goon" with a tasteless poster about The College Dropout, there's a tea partier with a tasteless poster about our "Muslim" President. Life's too short to expect any better from any of them.

(As much as I'd like to say there's a difference between some random looney at a protest using crosshairs like that and a former elected official/prominent media figure doing the same... your point still holds. Scum is scum is scum)

Actually, the "media figure" to whom you refer (Palin?) didn't use anyone's face on her web page, just a location on a map. And her use of "cross hairs" came before Tucson, not after. Morally equivalent? That's up to you. But I'll just take any sliver of agreement I can get, given that we've had any number of posts on this thread justifying or at least not condemning calling Herman Cain a "monkey." So we've made some progress toward applying these standards fairly. And for that I am grateful.
