clown leadership for trying to ban in first place

Edmonton- holy shit. 3 too many men penalties in one game. Their line changes are as organized as a GOP speaker forum

their defense is atrocious

their goalie has played a stellar game and yet has given up 6 goals

Senators player Shane pinto being suspended for 41 games for sports wagering

this announcement has been brought to you by draft kings

Former UMD player and NHL'er Adam Johnson is in critical condition at a UK hospital after taking a blade to the neck. Very little updates are available as of the moment about his current condition.

Cornell players and coaches and broadcasting crew and fans were talking about this last night, and giving members of the UMD hockey community whatever support we could. I did not realize it was a skate blade, as they were being very careful with information. I had imagined it was a blunt force incident.

What a terrible thing.

Police today said they are still investigating the circumstances around his death.

I refuse to watch the video so I won’t be able to render a judgment. Hockey moves fast and we’ve all seen players do careless things. In this case he killed someone, doesn’t mean it was intentional.

but some who have seen it swear it looks intentional. Again, I’m sure he was trying to stop him, not kill him . Reckless? Probably

but some who have seen it swear it looks intentional.

I just can't imagine any hockey player doing that deliberately.

If it was willful negligence, then I can't see prosecuting. TBH the person would never be safe on the ice again, from opponents or even teammates. He would be a pedo in the prison yard.

DGF- wha?????? That's hard to fathom someone would use their skate intentionally to stop someone. Especially like that.

Agreed, people are nuts. I’m sure the police statement today didn’t help tamper their conspiracy theory.

the discussion I read is on hfboard and there are others there calling it crazy. Edit: gpl has someone also saying It looks intentional

won’t be surprised if petgrave never plays again though

Xitter was a cesspool of rage calling Petgrave all sorts of coded language, ultimately saying if the players were reversed Johnson would already be in jail for a hate crime.

I'm glad my network connection was unstable so the autoplay video was pixelated so I couldn't cleanly see the incident. Looked accidental on my (one and only) viewing.
