NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

Re: NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

Barkley basically says that the NBA playoffs are as entertaining as watching paint dry, then when asked how his employer would feel about him saying that.. "well they can't fire me, I signed a long term deal, they'd have to pay me". Priceless.

Based on action thus far tonight--currently 5-0 Pens--I see no way the Preds win a seventh game if the series goes that far. The crowd has made a noticeable difference for the Pens tonight.

The Nashvilles can throw all the catfish on the ice they want in game six. Won't help 'em a bit when the series goes back to Pittsburgh.

I've barely watched a minute of the finals. Is this true or merely Deadspin clickbait?

Between Sid and PK it has. Pekka & Murray are a sieve on the road and a wall at home.

Since I haven't watched a second of the NBA finals, I can't compare.

The awful thing is I realized the possibility of a brawl made me more interested in watching game six (1.41421% interest, up from 0%). The NHL has become so meaningless to me that I am now a casual hockey fan with respect to it.

That's what 25 years of suck will do.

Islanders have had some awful owners/GM's/coaches/draft picks/free agent signings in the past 20 years. NHL as a whole has become extremely entertaining to watch in the past 5/10 yrs, but my team has won 3 cups in that time frame. To each their own, I guess.

I think the product on the ice is much better than during the dreary Devils years. I just find more and more that I lack interest in watching any sports when I don't have a rooting interest, and the Isles are a very frustrating team to watch. Even when they have great talents like Tavares the thought is "too bad they're ****ing away his best years."

Faith Hill was worth the entire run by the Predators...
