peed down their leg.

I have not heard that expression in 40 years. Good to see it's still out there -- beautifully evocative. Every 10-year old boy is a natural poet. :)

Nothing confirmed or official, but Patrick Kane possibly injured shoulder/collarbone. Could miss extended period of time (Twitter saying anything 6+ weeks to 10+ weeks.)

Yep. Clavicle.

At least 6 weeks... possibly 10 or more.

Ledges are filling up.

Re: NHL 2015 - Trouble Bruin! Ranger Leaf jumped the King Shark! Just Ducky!

Ouch. He's probably my fave player. Amazing what he can do.

I guess the bright side is that once it heals, there usually are no lingering effects as opposed to something like a knee.

Hawks will probably need to win a first round series without him if he's to play again this year.

The silver lining is that this frees up cap space to acquire help if they choose to go that route and once you get to the playoffs, there is no cap. So if he's out for the regular season, they have a lot of space to use for the remainder of the regular season and he can rejoin the team in the postseason.

Phillip in a Hawks jersey? ;)

:D

more likely to be Antoine Vermette. Leafs are also selling players, maybe get someone from them.

That's who the Wild want. Now they're not likely to get him with this option at Chicago.

This is bad news for the Bruins 'cause now there's another player in the Right Wing Sweepstakes. Not a good day for Chicago Winter sports teams. :(

Sounds like 12 weeks is the timeframe for Kane's clavicle :(

Florida's got moves like Jagr.

Jagr's playing career is longer than the Florida Panthers franchise.

In fact, Jagr was in the league prior to: Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Anaheim, Nashville, Atlanta (WPG Jets 2.0), Columbus, and Minnesota (2.0).

Jagr also was in the league prior to Dallas, Carolina, Colorado, and Arizona. And played against the North Stars, Hartford, Quebec, and (possibly?) Winnipeg (1.0)

Clarkson to Columbus for Nathan Horton

Salary dump.

Definitely against Winnipeg 1.0. He won a Cup in 1991 and 1992 and the Yotes left in 1996.
