Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Suck it Chicago.

Of course, given St Louis' past precedent, they'll still find a stupid reason to put Els on the bench. Because that's what those idiots do.

Barring some sort of miracle, I think it is safe to say that Torchetti will be back in the AHL soon.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Why? Because his team had no offense without Parise, Vanek and Haula in the lineup?

No, but it's pretty obvious they're not listening to him. He was quoted saying "No More Stick Checks" when he got here and the players were doing that all night last night. Pointed out on Twitter by many of the local hockey pundits and media for the Wild. Walz eviscerated the team in the postgame too.

In fairness, Dubnyk had an incredibly ballsy poke check pay off for him big time last night.

I don't think Torch was referring to the goaltender. Either way they're not listening to him cause every time they lose we hear the "they have to play the right way" crap which is the same speech Yeo gave over and over and over and over again.

He might be, but the Southern Crosses will choke.
As much as I lack confidence in the Stars' defensive acumen, uh what? The Stars just torched the Wild 4-0 in a game that wasn't very close, the Wild are missing their 3 best scorers, and Dallas is getting Seguin back for game 2. So what exactly gives the "they're going to choke" vibe?
