Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

As much as I lack confidence in the Stars' defensive acumen, uh what? The Stars just torched the Wild 4-0 in a game that wasn't very close, the Wild are missing their 3 best scorers, and Dallas is getting Seguin back for game 2. So what exactly gives the "they're going to choke" vibe?
Uhm, while I agree that it is unlikely the Wild win this series, I don't think anyone would claim that Parise, Vanek, and Haula are the Wild's 3 best scorers...

Wild's Stats

Koivu is the overall points leader for the team with 56, having 17 goals. 17 goals is 5th on the team, one less than Vanek.

Just another indication that the Wild don't really have any goal scorers. Think about it. He has one less goal than Vanek. Isn't Vanek the guy that got benched because he wasn't doing his job? And look up Koivu's playoff stats.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Yeah, regardless of his low goal total, I don't see how you could seriously say that Koivu isn't one of the main elements of the offense.

No question. On the Wild he's one of the elements of the offense. I would not say, however, that anyone on the team is "main element" except perhaps Parise cause he has to have the puck if at all possible.

So nbcsn picked up chicago feed? Crowd noise isn't right. Sounds like they are calling the game by watching on tv from a closet.

Abdelkader should get extra time out of that. What a clown.

I didn't mean a suspension.

Just out of that scrum.
