NFL 2019: Superb Owl and Offseason

Re: NFL 2019: Superb Owl and Offseason

I’m solely talking about offense and saying he’s the only one that even comes close.

As far as other great HCs, Walsh would have to be in the conversation. A game-changer.

Re: NFL 2019: Superb Owl and Offseason

If we are going to let this discussion continue, despite overwhelming evidence that TB is GOAT, I have every right to bring Ron Vander Kelen into the discussion. His stats might not be great, but put him in today's game and he'd dominate.

The Majik man.

He can thank Jerry Burns for that.

Well if we're talking about head coaches George Halas essentially invented pro football, so he's probably the alltime #1.

Re: NFL 2019: Superb Owl and Offseason

This is 100% correct. Belichick is the greatest pro coach of the last 25 years. I just don’t know anyone from before that era we’ll enough to say they’re better or worse than him.

The only argument worth having regarding Belichick in the modern era is whether he would have been as successful without a salary cap.

Bill B is GOAT for coaches, IMO.

And yes, comparing eras is tough. Remember the big bad Hogs from DC in the 80s? I think SOME of them might be big enough for RB nowadays. ;)

luckily for bill, the era shifted right after he left clevetown :p

George Starke 6-5, 260
Ray Brown 6-5, 318
Fred Dean 6-3, 253
Jim Lachey 6-6, 294
Raleigh McKenzie 6-2, 290
Mark Schlereth 6-3, 282
Ed Simmons 6-3, 315

With exception to two or three of those guys, they'd be called the Piglets these days.

Consider this, the U of MN has a RT that's 6'9", 400lbs, and can move. Pacific Islanders for the win!

You aren't joking. Last year as a freshman the guy was a force. I couldn't believe how much that kid could move. Picture Shaq running the 110-m hurdles. Successfully.

Shaq is only 324. That guy weighs 76 pounds more. That's about the difference between Ralph and Norton.

Big Show in WWE is 7' and 383 for comparison.

Brock Lesnar is only 6'3" and 286.

That's an absolute unit.
