And people wonder why Boston sports fans are jerks! There's still people trying to argue that Peyton Manning was better than Brady? Good Lord, if you people didn't exist we'd have to invent you. :D

As the resident hater of, in ascending order, the Pats, Belichick, and Boston, I see no way to argue that Brady isn't the GOAT. We live in the darkest timeline and that's simply part of it. An epoch gets the emissary it deserves.

He didn't "lap the field." That's idiotic. Lapping the field is Babe Ruth during his career. Wanna lap the field? Get 10 rings and 150k passing yards.

But he is clearly #1, now, by any reasonable optic.

You said he was Top 5 which is a completely redundant comment to make. Of course he's Top 5 - no one in their right might would say he's not. Yet when you actually typed, "he's Top 5" it left it open to interpretation that you thought he's #5. You might not have intended that but... :)

I'd say he's lapped the field. For me he sealed the title of GOAT when he destroyed the Legion of Boom after being down 10 points in the 4th quarter. For all of Montana's greatness, his signature drive in the SB came against....the Bengals. Not Montana's fault as you don't choose your opponent.

Since that game, Brady has won 2 more Super Bowls! :eek:

Why do people consider Manning to be a better QB than even Drew Brees, who has better stats? Manning won one SB against the pathetic Bears, one of the worst teams to ever make a SB. His 2nd one he had a dead arm for as the D on Denver won that one. In the meantime Brees went through Manning's Colts to win his and has generally played for an inferior team.
