The thing is, it's the right thing to do. Where was Golladay drafted? 1st rounders should basically always be O or D line. You can get skill position players later in the draft without much dropoff. A great line makes average QB/RB/WR look good, an average line makes great QB/RB/WR look bad.
I don't see that linemen are better to draft in the first round- they have busts just like every other position. The worst bust of all time was an OL.
I do see that the line is the most important thing to make any O player look good- but that's not the weak area on the team overall. On that note- ONE guy isn't going to change an offensive line- that needs all 5 of them working together. Whereas an amazing defensive lineman can change the game.
