Re: NFL 2017: With Dollar Signs in Goodell's Eyes

I thought GB and Minny fans were just amiable drunks like Bills fans?

There you go again lumping us together. We may be flyover country to you but Wisconsin is the armpit to our supple breasts.

I think that would make Iowa the arsehole. Hard to argue with that...

SF punts to Sea. Sea does not call fair catch. Sea fumbles the return and SF recovers and scores.

All of the following then happens without any review ever occuring:

The officials signal a TD for SF.

The officials announce SF has recovered but cannot advance.

The officials announce the ball first hit a SF cover man on the helmet and that Sea gets the ball.

Pete Carroll nearly gets unsportsmanlike running onto the field complaining SF should also get a penalty for not allowing first touch.

And, what's wrong with that? Seems like a normal day in the Empire of Roger I, Lord of all He Surveys.

I didn't catch the name, but the color guy on the 8:00 game just cited a rookie back thusly: "last week he began his career with a fumble, another fumble, a one-yard loss, and an ankle injury."

The remarkable thing is listening to the announcers Carroll was probably right.

I just don't get how the officials could make two contradictory announcements without a review. They either should have needed a review between the announcements or, if there was initial disagreement, the first announcement should never have been made.

The CFL Grey Cup on ESPN2 is tied with 4:24 left in regulation. That usually means plenty of time for 2 scores.

Is it 53-53?

And how many rouges?

God, it would be so Canadian if the game ended in a tie they just share the trophy. Three-way with the indigenous tribes.

They play NCAA overtimes in Canada.

Toronto up 27-24 with 49 seconds left.

ARGOS!!!!!!

Calgary assured of a field goal to tie, goes For the TD and it gets picked off in the end zone.

Re: NFL 2017: With Dollar Signs in Goodell's Eyes

Then Boswell ties the Heinz Field record FG to win it (53 yards).

Don't worry PackNation, your medicine comes to town next weekend.
